    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type continuously variable transmission which reduces the cost by reducing capacity required to an oil pump, and improves fuel economy performance.
      SOLUTION: In the belt type continuously variable transmission, a variable pulley comprising a fixed sheave relatively unmovable to an axial direction and a peripheral direction and a movable sheave relatively movable to the axial direction is disposed on a primary side rotating shaft and a secondary side rotating shaft, a winding radius of a belt to the variable pulleys is varied, and thereby, a desired speed ratio is provided. The belt type continuously variable transmission is provided with a gear mechanism 400 comprising a first transmission gear 410 arranged on the secondary side rotating shaft SS movably at least to the axial direction, and a second transmission gear 420 meshed with the first transmission gear 410 and transmitting power to an output shaft side. The gear mechanism 400 is constituted by a helical gear so that the mesh reaction imparts belt pinching force to the movable sheave 324 of the secondary side variable pulley 320.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive stress from acting on a roller bearing due to partial concentration of the excessive stress to the roller bearing. SOLUTION: Each bolt hole is formed in each region which is deviated from the axial-center surface α passing through the axial center of a primary shaft 22 and that of a secondary shaft 32 in a rear case 11c storing a belt type continuously variable transmission. Each stopper plate 27, 37 is fastened and fixed by each bolt 28, 38 inserted into each bolt hole so as to press each outer race of a bearing supporting each shaft. Therefore, it prevents a region near each bolt-fastening position, where a constraint force acting from each stopper plate 27, 37 on each outer race of the bearing becomes larger, and a region, where a tensile force of a belt or a force generated by a centrifugal force acts along the axial-center surface α, from being overlapped with each other, thereby allowing minute elastic deformation or minute movement within the mounting tolerance range of each outer race even when the bearing receives an excessive force.
