CONSTITUTION:A reed switch 7 is mounted on a printed circuit board 17 along the orthogonal line thereof in order to detect the inclinations in P- and Q- directions by one reed switch 7 and the recessed groove 20 formed to the top part of a mount stand 15 is also formed in the same direction as the reed switch 7. When a magnetic body 10 is moved along the recessed groove 20 in this constitution, a response angle becomes small as the magnetic body is allowed to approach A and becomes large as said magnetic body is allowed to approach D. Since the response angle can be arbitrarily set by this mechanism, even when the mount position of a sensor constitutional part varies widely, the reed switch can be certainly operated at a set angle of inclination. As a result, the detection accuracy of a state of inclination and manufacturing yield can be enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce leakage flux and fluctuations in characteristics by tilting one set of magnetic legs so that their lines of extension is directed to the center of a rotary shaft with respect to the plane of a flat surface of the core and setting a print coil formed on the flexible base plate at the center of the magnetic legs. CONSTITUTION:While one set of magnetic legs 17a, 17b are erected upright from the flat plate of the magnetic core 17, the other set of magnetic legs 17c, 17d are tilted relative to the flat plate part so that the lines of extension thereof intersect the central axis 18 of the rotary shaft 18. The distance (w) between the legs 17c, 17d is set to a wider value so that the relation with the gap (g) between the end and the rotary shaft is represented by w>>2g. Even if the magnetic permeability of the shaft is s low as about 10, the magnetic reluctance of the magnetic circuit directly from pole to pole is larger surficiently than the magnetic reluctance of the magnetic path of the magnetic flux through the shaft 2. By further setting to the end of the magnetic leg the print coil provided to the flexible base plate of reduced thickness, flux leakage is reduced so that the magnetic flux can be concentrated to the rotary shaft.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve a higher torque detection performance, by providing a rotatable adjusting means arranged to be magnetically eccentric roughly at the center of a flat plate of a ferrite magnetic core. CONSTITUTION:A torque detector 1 is equipped with a table-shaped ferrite magnetic core 3 in which columnal legs 5a-5d at four apexes of one main surface of a roughly square flat plate 4 respectively, exciting coils 6a and 6b mounted on a set of legs 5a and 5b existing on the diagonal line of the core 3 while connected in series to each other and detecting coils 6c and 6d mounted on other legs 5c and 5d as connected in series. An adjusting coil 7 arranged to be magnetically eccentric is mounted roughly at the center of the flat plate 4 of the core 3 in such a manner as to be rotatable. The torque detector 1 is so arranged that the legs 5a and 5b as exciting pole are positioned within a plane containing the axis line 2a of a rotating shaft 2 while the legs 5c and 5d as detecting pole positioned with a plane vertical to the axis line 2a while the tips of these legs face one another on the circumferential surface of the rotating shaft 2 through a fine clearance. Thus, a higher torque detection performance can be achieved.

CONSTITUTION:The inclination sensor consists of the case 1 (including a lid 2) made of the nonmagnetic body having the space 3 internally, the permanent magnet 4 which has magnetic flux stuck on the surface and is stored in the space 3 in a displaceable state, and the magnetic sensing element 6 which senses the magnetism of the magnet 4 fixed to the case 1. Consequently, when the main case 1 is in a horizontal state, the magnet 4 is at the center part of the bottom surface 3 of the space by its own weight. Then when the bottom surface B slants, the magnet 4 moves to the lower part on the bottom surface A. Therefore, the magnet 4 moves away from the element 6 and their relative distance varies; and the magnetism corresponding to the distance is detected and the inclination of the device where the inclination sensor is installed can be detected. Further, the output of the element 6 is used to control the attitude of the device.

Coils 13 are set to the uppermost leading ends of the magnetic legs and the whole thereof is molded by a resin. The interval (w) between the magnetic legs 17c, 17d is made sufficiently wide and the relation of the gap (g) between the leading end of each magnetic leg and the rotary shaft is set to w>=2Xg. By this method, leak magnetic flux is reduced and magnetic flux can be conc. to the rotary shaft.

Then, an electric power is connected to a couple of coils 2A and 2C on the diagonal and the other couple of coils 2B and 2D are connected to a current measuring instrument; and the rotating body 6 is rotated to correct an offset output and then the torque of the shaft 11 is detected.

Leakage flux is distributed centering around the gap of a magnetic core 1, but a winding interlinked with the leakage flux is also shortened only by the shortened section of winding length, thus reducing eddy current loss.
