    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide shaft inclination adjusting method capable of highly accurately adjusting parallelism between a plane on which the recording medium of a turntable is loaded and a plane vertical to the optical axis of a recording medium device. SOLUTION: In a first adjusting step, the two PN1, PN2 of the three mounting surfaces of a skew angle adjusting fixture J1 are mounted on both end sides on a first guide shaft 32a, and the remaining one mounting surface PN13 is mounted on one end side on a second guide shaft 32b. In this state, by an automatic collimator, parallel lights are respectively made incident on a plane mirror RB and an optical plane OF1 rotated by a turntable. A reflected light from the plane mirror and a reflected light from the optical plane are returned to the automatic collimator, and the height of the other end is adjusted by using the height of one end of the first guide shaft as a reference so that the reflected light from the plan mirror and the reflected light from the optical plane are parallel to each other.
