    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mount plate, which includes a flange having a first surface and an opposing second surface and a boss tower having a swage hole.SOLUTION: The boss tower extends from an area where the boss tower meets the first surface of the flange to an end surface of the boss tower. The boss tower has an inner diameter defining an inner surface of the swage hole, an outer diameter defining a portion of an outer surface of the boss tower, and at least one cut-out portion formed in the boss tower along an obliquely angled plane. The cut-out portion intersects with the outer surface at a first area located a first distance away from where the boss tower meets the first surface of the flange and intersects with the end surface at a second area located a second distance away from the inner diameter. The first distance is less than the second distance.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head suspension with stable rigidity and dynamic characteristics. SOLUTION: In a flange part 37, one side junction part 55 which projects closest to an arm side is circularly formed in an outer peripheral end part 37a1 of one side face 37a, the other side junction part 57-1 which projects closest to the other member side including a boss part 39 is circularly formed in an outer peripheral end part 37b1 of the other side face 37b. Consequently, a head suspension with stable rigidity and dynamic characteristics is obtained, without reducing adhesion due to a seam failure, even if the other members are bonded on the other side face 37b of the flange part 37.
