摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mount plate, which includes a flange having a first surface and an opposing second surface and a boss tower having a swage hole.SOLUTION: The boss tower extends from an area where the boss tower meets the first surface of the flange to an end surface of the boss tower. The boss tower has an inner diameter defining an inner surface of the swage hole, an outer diameter defining a portion of an outer surface of the boss tower, and at least one cut-out portion formed in the boss tower along an obliquely angled plane. The cut-out portion intersects with the outer surface at a first area located a first distance away from where the boss tower meets the first surface of the flange and intersects with the end surface at a second area located a second distance away from the inner diameter. The first distance is less than the second distance.

摘要： In a disk drive suspension including a baseplate and a load beam, a boss portion and protrusions are formed on the baseplate. The protrusions are formed in positions on a first surface of the baseplate off a reference mounting surface in contact with a suspension bearing surface of an actuator arm. Further, the protrusions are formed on a second surface located opposite from the first surface and project relative to the thickness of the baseplate. These protrusions serve to prevent a plurality of baseplates from closely contacting one another during their manufacture.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external wireless laminated suspension for a hard disk drive.SOLUTION: An external wireless laminated suspension comprises an insulator layer 320 to electrically insulate a first electric path 330 and a second electric path 340 from a conductive support layer 310. The second electric path 340 crosses over the first electric path 330. The first electric path 330 may be made of a first part 420 on one side of the electric path and a second part 430 on an opposite side of the electric path. A conductive area may be patterned into the support layer 310. The conductive area may electrically couple the first part 420 of the first electric path 330 to the second part 430. The number of crossover points that the first electric path 330 has may be equal to the number of crossover points that the second electric path 340 has.
