    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude a remainder of erase of a substrate at the editing from the object for the C2 correction without inserting an EditID into an ID of a SYNC block or preparing a reproduction system for detecting the EditID of the substrate, in a reproducing apparatus provided with such a non-tracking reproduction method that a same track is scanned by one reproduction head in multiple times, a C1 correction is executed to data reproduced by each scan for every predetermined recording block, the C1-corrected reproduced data are written into a memory, and two corrections are executed to the reproduced data read out from the memory. SOLUTION: A part of tracks at the back side among the tracks of predetermined number of pieces becoming an editing unit SG is set in an ahead-write priority area SG2 and the remainder is set in a post-write priority area SG1, and a discrimination is made whether the reproduced data in the recording block of the same ID as the recording block are being written in the memory with respect to each recording block which is reproduced from the ahead-write priority area SG2 and C1-corrected, then the reproduced data of the recording block not being written are written into the memory, and the reproduced data of the recording block being written are not written into the memory.
