    • PURPOSE:To prevent higher harmonic magnetic flux from entering a movable core and to avoid occurrence of vibrations and noises by a construction wherein a conductive layer is provided on the surface of the toothed portions of a stator core opposite to the movable core. CONSTITUTION:At the time when the induced higher harmonic magnetic flux tends to flow through toothed portions 1 toward a movable core, high harmonic induced voltage is generated in conductive layers 5 formed on the surfaces of the toothed portions 1 and this induced voltage causes an eddy current to flow through the conductive layers 5, thereby to prevent the higher harmonic magnetic flux from flowing toward the movable core. The higher harmonic magnetic flux thus blocked at this time is bridged to the adjacent toothed portion through a magnetic wedge 4', as indicated by dotted lines in the figure, to form a magnetic path. By so doing, it becomes possible to prevent the flow of the higher harmonic magnetic flux from entering the movable core and hence to avoid occurrence of vibrations as well as noises.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic wedge which is magnetically permeable, thin, has high mechanical strength and does not exert an influence to a winding space by alternately laminating and solidifying synthetic resin or magnetic powder- containing synthetic resin layers and thin amorphous magnetic strips. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic wedge W in which thin amorphous magnetic strips A are laminated between synthetic or magnetic powder-containing synthetic resin layers P, and solidified, is inserted into the slot hole of the top of a winding C wound in the winding slot S of a core. The strips A have good magnetic jpermeability, high mechanical hardness and considerably strength. The magnetic permeability is further improved by laminating a plurality of the strips, thereby increasing the mechanical strength, and since the strips are arranged in a stepwisely intermittent architecture, its electric resistance is very high and an eddy current hardly flows.

    • PURPOSE: To change transmitted torque, by using permanent magnets to magnetize magnetic powder and by separating the magnetic poles of the magnets from each other and changing the density of magnetic flux which extends through a short circuit between the divided poles.
      CONSTITUTION: Permanent magnets 4 are embedded in the yoke 1 of a magnetic- powder-type coupling. A control ring 5 is provided between the magnetic magnets 4 to divide them as two units. The control ring 5 comprises an outer annular magnetic part 5-1 of high permeability, an intermediate nonmagnetic annular part 5-2 and an inner part 5-3 composed of magnetic sections (a) of high permeability and nonmagnetic sections (b) which are alternately located in the circumferential direction. The inner part 1-2 of the yoke 1 has protruded sections in contact with the sides of the ring 5 and recessed sections out of contact with the sides of the ring. According to this constitution, magnetic flux is generated between the inner part 1-2 of the yoke 1 and the magnetic sections (a) of the inner part 5-3 of the control ring 5 when the ring 5 is rotated.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize the structure of a driving wheel, by forming a wheel for driving with a permanent magnet motor rotor of outer rotor type. CONSTITUTION:A driving wheel 6 is of outer rotor type and a shaft 7 of a stator section 8 is fixed to a wheel, and a rotor section 10 having a casing 9 provided rotationally on the shaft 7 is used for the wheel. The stator section 8 consists of the shaft 7 and an armature 11 attached to the shaft, and one end of the shaft 7 is fixed to a section L-shaped attachment member 13 for the lower face for a wheel body 12 via a spacer 14. And the armature 11 is provided with windings 16 for an electric machine forming a revolving magnetic field. The rotor section 10 consists of a casing 9, a rotor core 20, a wheel section 21 and a cap 22, and the rotor core 20 is provided inside the casing 9 confronting to the armature 11. And the wheel section 21 is provided with a tyre 24 of rubber or the like for ground travelling.
