    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize proper transfer in an electrophotographic image-forming device, having plural image forming processing speeds and capable of forming an image on both sides of a sheet of paper. SOLUTION: A transfer device 17 is provided with plural transfer rollers A to D, formed to have resistance values respectively adaptable to the selection of the processing speed and the selection of one side/both-side image forming, and any one of the transfer rollers is used selectively, by rotating a pair of disks 72 for supporting rotary shafts A1 to D1 about a shaft 71. Therefore, the fluctuation of the electrical resistance value of the sheet is compensated by the electrical resistance values of the respective transfer rollers. Even in the case of constant current by making transfer voltage applied between a photoreceptor drum 13 and the transfer roller constant, appropriate transfer voltage is applied to the paper, so that proper transfer is realized. Since complicated current and voltage control is not required, the device can be realized with inexpensive constitution, and since no change is required on the drum 13 side, the device can be applied easily also to an existent device.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of image quality by providing an elastic member abutting on the barrier wall of a developer containing means and a developer carrier containing means and turnable in same direction as the developer containing means thereby preventing a developer supplied to a carrier from mixing with a new developer in the developer carrier containing means. SOLUTION: In an apparatus for forming a toner (developer) image on a recording material by flying the toner from a toner supply section 3, the toner supply section 3 comprises a toner containing tank 35 containing a stirring roller 34 and a toner carrier containing tank 36 arranged contiguously thereto while being sectioned by means of a partition 37. The toner carrier containing tank 36 is provided with a tubular toner carrier 31, an elastic toner supply roller 33, and a doctor blade 32 for imparting specified charges to the toner T and regulating the thickness of a toner layer carried on the outer circumferential surface of the toner carrier 31. The supply roller 33 abuts against the partition 37 to separate the toner surely.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the generation of fogging and to obtain good images having decreased after-images by specifying the surface potential of a photosensitive body decreased by exposing and setting the exposing energy of an exposing device. CONSTITUTION:A developer T and the surface of the photosensitive body 1 are brought into contact with each other while voltages are impressed to a developer holding member and a transparent conductive layer 1b, by which the surface is electrified. The exposing meeting image patterns is executed by setting the exposing energy in such a manner that the relation between the surface potential VD1 generated by passing the photosensitive body 1 in the contact region with the developer T in approximately the zero state of the surface potential of the photosensitive body 1, the satd. value VD of the surface potential when the photosensitive body is continuously passed in the contact region with the developer T and the surface potential V1 of the photosensitive body 1 after the exposing attains VL>=VD-VD1. Accordingly, the surface potential of the photosensitive body 1 is maintained near the satd. value VD in the non-image part and, therefore, the developer holding member and the surface of the photosensitive body 1 have approximately the same surface potential and since a potential difference is not generated between these, the generation of fogging is suppressed without toner sticking.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify a mechanism and to miniaturize a device by integrally installing a cleaning member for removing residual developer remaining on the surface of a photosensitive body and cleaning the surface of the photosensitive body in a developing device. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a toner holding body which is arranged on the opening part 3a of a developing vessel 3 in the developing device 2 and opposite to the photosensitive drum 1, a doctor blade 6 fixed under the toner holding body, and the cleaning member 7 arranged above the toner holding body, besides, the device is provided with a toner recovering part 8 installed on the right side of the cleaning member 7 in the developing vessel 3, and a holding member 9 for holding the cleaning member 7 in the toner recovering part 8. The toner holding body is constituted of a magnetic roller 5a and a developing sleeve 5b for covering the magnetic roller 5a therewith, and the residual toner removed from the surface of the photosensitive body by the cleaning member 7 is carried and recovered in the developer recovering part 8 by the actuation of an alternating field which is generated by rotating the magnetic roller 5a.

    • PURPOSE:To execute very easily the adjustment of an exposure light quantity by executing separately its adjustment which is applied to both lens arrays. CONSTITUTION:In case of executing a variable power copy, an optical path of a variable power use lens array 18 is opened due to a shutter 27, and when the tip of an original 20 reaches an exposure start point 22 by a forward motion of an original platen 21, an image is projected successively from on a photosensitive body 1 which is positioned at an exposure position. On the other hand, in case of executing an unmagnification copy, the shutter 27 is moved in the right direction, a slit 28 is opposed to an optical path of an unmagnification use lens array 19, and the optical path of the lens array 18 is light-shielded. Accordingly, the original 20 on the platen 21 passes through an exposure start point 23, therefore, an image of that time is projected onto the photosensitive body 1 being in an exposure position 30. In such a case, an illuminating device 25 for illuminating the original 20 is placed between each lens array 18, 19, therefore, the exposure start point 22 or 23 can be illuminated separately.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid causing the increase of the size of an image forming device and to remove paper powder and toner together. SOLUTION: A toner cleaning part 33 is provided with a brush 35 and a recovery container 36. The brush 35 comes into slidable contact with the surface of a transferring roller 19 and consists of material charged with static electricity of polarity reverse to that of toner due to friction with the surface of the transferring roller. A brush 35 charged with the polarity reverse to that of this toner surely scrapes off toner on the surface of the transferring roller 19 and recovers the toner to the recovery container 36. A paper powder cleaning part 34 is provided with a blade 37 and a recovery container 38. The blade 37 comes into slidable contact with the surface of the transferring roller 19 and consists of material charged with static electricity of polarity reverse to that of the paper powder by friction with the surface of the transferring roller 19. The blade 37 charged with static electricity of polarity reverse to that of the paper powder surely scrapes off the paper powder on the surface of the transferring roller 19, and recovers this paper powder into the recovery container 38.
