CONSTITUTION:A paper discharge device has a discharge roller 45 to be rotated and two identical driven rollers 46a, 46b making contact with the discharge roller 45. The driven rollers 46a, 46b are rotatably supported by an elastic body 47 and energized to be pressed onto the discharge roller 45. For example, the discharge roller 45 is formed of a rubber roller, and fitted and fixed onto a rotating shaft 48 rotated by a motor. The driven rollers 46a, 46b are formed of synthetic resin rollers, and rotatably arranged and fitted onto a spring 47, and both ends of the spring 47 are fixed to a copying machine body. When a sheet P is passed between the discharge roller 45 and the driven rollers 46a, 46b, the sheet P is waved, and a stiffness PS is given to the sheet P.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten time for reading plural documents for exposure, that is, time for copying with a simple mechanism by installing a transparent plate for piling and mounting sheetlike documents, a conveyor means for conveying the read documents in a prescribed direction and a guiding means for guiding the documents to the top part of the documents piled from a second transparent plate to a first transparent plate. CONSTITUTION:Documents D for copying are piled facedown on a first transparent plate 33 and in this state an optical system 41 is shifted to operate to read document images for exposure. After reading for exposure, documents D are conveyed to a conveyor route 53 and further led to a conveyor route 107 with the setting of a direction switchover nail 51 to a position 51C. When the nail 51 is set to a position 51a, a conveyor route is opened to a second transparent plate 101 as a second read position 100 from a route 107. When a roller 108 and conveyor rollers 109 are reversely driven, the documents D are conveyed to the transparent plate 101. After that, the documents D are conveyed from the route 107 to a route 106 and housed again on the piling directional top part of the documents D piled on the transparent plate 33.

CONSTITUTION:When a sheet 21 is conveyed from a sheet feed cassette to a sheet direction changing device 1, a sheet stopper 17 moved from the refuge position stops the conveyance of the sheet 21, and the center of the sheet 21 is matched with the rotary center of a direction changing bed 11 and a friction plate 12.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device for a sheet of simple constitution by decreasing the number of members to be controlled independently, among those members to constitute a shoot leading edge aligning mechanism and members of constituting a transporting mechanism for the shoots after a post- processing, while a high transporting force for each bundle of sheets after post- processing is well secured. SOLUTION: A collating roller 1 whose section perpendicular to the rotary shaft has such a shape as notched approximately one quarter of circle, is installed in the position of a hole provided at the oversurface of a staple tray 7. When the roller 1 is at a standstill, the wall surface W1 of the notch part is stopped in a position perpendicular to the transporting direction so as to block the transporting path, and thereby the leading edges of sheets carried in are put in alignment. After alignment of the bundle and stapling using a staple unit 6, the roller 1 is rotated and the transporting path is opened, and a sheet bundle is lifted by the wall surface W2, and in lieu of the notch part, the peripheral surface R is contacted with the undersurface of the bundle. At this time, a follower roller 2 having a similar shape to the collating roller 1 pinches the collating roller 1 and the sheet bundle to transport them.
