    • PURPOSE:To obtain the ink jet recording unit simple in construction, having no restriction in moving scanning and easy to exchange by a method wherein an ink reservoir is formed integral with a head equipped with an oscillator, ink chamber and a nozzle to make them into one unit. CONSTITUTION:The ink reservoir 8 is formed at the lower position of the nozzle 2 in one side of the rectangular parallelopiped head body 1 equipped with the oscillator 4, the ink chamber 3 and the nozzle 2 and a membrane filter 9 is provided at the bottom surface thereof. The lower part of the ink reservoir 8 and an ink supplying chamber 10 provided at the nozzle section 2 are connected by a supplying path 11. The head body 1 thus constituted is made into one unit and is connected to the other unit by only electrical connections, therefore, it is very easy to attach to and detach from a carrier. Ink is fed from the ink reservoir 8 to the ink liquid chamber 3 sufficiently by capillarity and the setting of the ink at the nozzle section 2 upon resting may also be eliminated. Bubbles will never invade into the ink liquid chamber 3 since thay are removed by the membrane filter 9 at the bottom surface of the ink reservoir 8.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the presence or absence of any original on contact glass while an original pressure plate is held closed by forming transparent electrodes on the contact glass, providing plural pieces of electrodes to the undersurface of the original pressure plate and conducting these. CONSTITUTION:A thin-film-like transparent electrode 2 is formed on the surface of contact glass 1. Plural pieces of electrodes 5 are provided to the undersurface of an original pressure plate 3 in such a manner as to contact originals 4 of various sizes when said originals 4 are placed on the prescribed position on the glass 1, so that when there are no originals 4, the electrodes 5 contact the electrodes 2 and conduct to form a closed circuit. If all the electrodes 5 conduct when the plate 3 is held closed upon ending of copying, it is indicative of the absence of the original on the glass 1. When the conduction of, for example, the two electrodes 5 on the undersurface of the plate 3 is blocked, and the other two electrodes 5 not in contact with the original 4 contact the electrode 2, the conduction state can be controlled as compared with full conduction and therefore the remaining of the original is easily detected.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a distinct imaging point with good accuracy by disposing a solid-state image sensor on the plane identical to or in a conjugate relation with the recording medium plane and adjusting the luminescent spot image by the illuminance distribution signal of luminescent spot in this sensor. CONSTITUTION:The fluorescent face 1b of a cathode ray tube CRT1 and the photo detecting face of a solid state image sensor CCD5 are so disposed as to assume a conjugate relation with respect to a lens 4. The electric signal output distribution of the CCD5 varies with the sharpness of the scanning luminescent spot on the fluorescent face 1b of the CRT1. If the luminescent spot on the fluorescent face 1b is sharp, hence if the imaging on the CCD5 is sharp, the electric signal output distributiion of the CCD5 is limited to a range where the peak value of the illuminance ratio is high and the illuminance distribution is narrow. Thereupon, the peak value and the allowance width of the half value width of the illuminance ratio are beforehand determined and the electric output signal of the CCD5 is actually measured while it is being moved on the optical axis, thence the position where the output of the CCD5 comes within said allowance width is obtained, whereby the sharp imaging point may be obtained rapidly with good accuracy.

    • PURPOSE:To make possible copying of even an original stuck the tapes for preventing copying by providing a translucent lighting surface between the translucent reflection mirror in the optical path of effective luminous flux and a light soruce, and making the lighting luminous flux and effective luminous flux optically the same. CONSTITUTION:An imaging lens 18 and a translucent reflection mirror 19 are disposed between a reflection mirror 16 and a photosensitive drum 17, and a light soruce 20 is provided in the position where the effective luminous flux r1 to the drum 17 and the luminous flux r2 reflected by the reflection mirror 19 align. Also, a translucent lighting surface 22 is provided in proximity to the light soruce 20, and the lighting luminous flux r2 and the effective luminous flux r1 are made identical. With this constitution, the light of the light source 20 irradiates the original stuck the tapes 1 for preventing copying and the reflected light passes through the same optical path as that of the incident luminous flux by the effect of the glass beads (b) of the tapes 1, and is imaged on the drum 17. Thereby, even the original stuck the tapes for preventing copying is copied.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a sharp copy to be obtained irrespective of any kind of original, by forming a layer for reflecting infrared rays or laser beams on the bottoms of the recesses of a transparent film with the surface having the minute recesses and filling a substance consisting mainly of a ferromagnetic material in the recesses. CONSTITUTION:Thin layer 13 of a material for reflecting infrared rays or laser beams is formed on the bottoms of minute recesses 12 provided on the surface of transparent film 11, and substance 14 consisting mainly of a ferromagnetic material is filled in recesses 12. An original is overlaid on the surface of sheet 1 where substance 14 is present. Sheet 1 is placed in a magnetic field and the reverse side of sheet 1 is illuminated by infrared rays. The rays except those impinging on layers 13 reach the original, and are absorbed in the dark areas of the original, resulting in conversion into heat, and formation of temperature distribution corresponding to the original pattern on the surface of the original. Substance 14 is heated by the transmitted heat and oriented in accordance with the external magnetic field to give a magnetic pattern. This pattern is developed with a magnetic toner and a transfer paper is overlaid on the developed pattern, thus permitting an image to be obtained on the transfer paper.
