    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a phenomenon in which toner scatters toward a transfer material and to improve toner image quality after transfer by making conductive members, which are grounded or have the same polarity as that of a voltage applied to a transfer roller and to which a voltage lower in absolute value than the voltage applied to it, abut on the surface of the transfer roller. SOLUTION: Conductive rollers 16 and 17, made of metal, which serve as the conductive members abut on the surface of the transfer roller 5. In the use of the conductive rollers 16 and 17 as the conductive members, they are freely rotatably supported with a transfer unit case and rotated and driven by a driving device such that both move in the same direction and at the same speed in the areas where they are in contact with the transfer roller 5. That is, the conductive rollers 16 and 17 are rotated and driven in the directions shown by the arrows. In the case, the conductive members composed as the conductive rollers 16 and 17 are grounded, or the voltage whose polarity is the same as that of the voltage applied to the transfer roller 5 and absolute value is lower than that of the voltage applied to it is applied to each of them.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate smooth transportation on a transforming surface by applying positive and negative voltages alternately on a stripe electrode and causing electrostatic repulsion or attraction with respect to charged particles on an insulation layer charged with positive or negative polarity thereby moving the particles. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum electrodes 3 are formed, in stripe, on a base 2 and covered with an insulation layer 4 to provide a transportation surface 5 for mounting powder (toner) 1. A voltage applying means for causing electrostatic repulsion or attraction between the electrode 3 and the toner 1 on the insulation layer 4 charged with positive or negative polarity is also provided. When the polarity of driving pulses C1-C5 is switched appropriately according to the moving position of the charged toner 1, only the toner 1 charged with positive polarity can be transported to the right. Consequently, the toner 1 can be transported smoothly without causing damage on the properties or profile thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To carry out digital recording at a low voltage by selectively inverting a polarization on a laminated body, forming a latent image on the surface of a ferroelectric substance, and electrostatically developing the latent image. CONSTITUTION:When a positive voltage is applied on an aluminum drum 1 covered with the ferroelectric substance 2 by using a conductive rubber roller 3, static electricity is generated. Therefore, the polarization is selectively inverted on the layer of the wholly polarized ferroelectric substance 2 by a multistylus 4, and the latent image is formed on the ferroelectric substance 2. After the latent image is formed, developing is carried out by supplying negative toner and positive toner to a developing roller 6. Further, the transfer is performed by a conductive transfer roller 7, and attracting is carried out by a polarity opposite to a toner one to perform the transfer. Thus, the recording is carried out at the low voltage.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a photoelectric conversion apparatus capable of high speed driving, by forming a photoelectric conversion part, a switching circuit part and peripheral wiring part of a superconductive material. CONSTITUTION:A pit (window 7) is formed in an Si substrate surface and a film 1 of superconductor YBaCuO is formed on the other surface by heat treatment after sputtered. Thereafter, this is made band-shaped by using a laser beam. In addition, a window 5 is formed on a side opposite to the window 7 by removing a superconductor 1. For a window 6, a superconductive layer 1 is left as a thin film. Next, ion implantation is performed with boron through the window 5 to form a P channel in the Si substrate. Thereafter, SiO2 is deposited as a protective layer by a CVD method and an A1 electrode is deposited on the window 7 to take out a wiring. When the photoelectric conversion element is cooled at a temperature of 77K, zero resistance and the Josephson effect peculiar to the superconductor are revealed.
