    • PURPOSE: To obtain high-quality filament continuously and stably from slightly spinnable substance, by forming a liquid layer on the inner face of a rotating drum by centrifugal force, jetting melt of the substance having fiber-forming ability, etc. to it, to carry out spinning, transferring the filament successively in the shaft direction, drawing it.
CONSTITUTION: The liquid A of coagulating bath is fed from the pipes 2 and 2' for feeding the liquid of coagulating bath to the inner face 1 of at least one rotating drum, and a rotating liquid layer is formed by centrifugal force. The stock solution B for spinning consisting of melt or solution of a substance having fiber-forming ability is jetted from the nozzle 3 to it, the melt or solution is caught in the layer of the liquid layer A of coagulating bath to carry out spinning. The caught filament C is successively transferred in the axial direction by moving continuously the rotating liquid A along the rotating face in the direction of the rotating shaft, or by moving the liquid while subjecting the filament to post processing, and introduced out of the rotating drum to the guide ring 4 and the traverse 5 and drawn by the winding drum 6.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the uniformity of a stretched film by a method wherein a course similar to the forming curved surface, which is made under the state that respective parts of the film are stretched uniformly, is taken by the film by supplying the predetermined liquid to the surface of the film under stretching. CONSTITUTION:Both the edges of a film 1 are pinched at points (a) and a' between pulleys 2 and 2', which are adjacent to each other, supported horizontally and rotated in the directions indicated with the arrows C and C', and belts 3 and 3', each of which is pressed against the lower semicircular part of the pulley and runs at the speed same as the peripheral speed of the pulley. The film 1 proceeds while being laterally stretched, turns round at points (b), releases at points (c) and c' from the pulleys and the belts and finally proceeds in the form of a stretched film. Liquid is supplied to a sack-like portion made by the proceeding film and the lower halves of the pulleys 2 and 2' so that the difference is made between the liquid level in the sack-like portion and that outside the sack-like portion so as to apply the internal pressure due to the static pressure of the liquid in the interior of the sack-like portion in order to hold the shape of the film ranging between the points (c) and c' in an approximate f-curved surface.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a tubular separation membrane comprising a membrane as a starting material constructed to a structure also having the advantage of a hollow fiber shape by a method wherein both end parts of two or more superposed functional polymer separation membranes are sealed and a plurality of linear adhesive seal parts are provided to the inside thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The left and the right both end parts 3, 3' of two functional polymer separation membranes 1, 2 are sealed to form a tubular shape and the inside part thereof is further adhered and sealed by linear adhesive seal parts 4, 4', 4"... to form a structure having plural groups of fine tubular parts fromed thereto. As the result, each one of fine tubular groups exhibit effect equal to that of one hollow fiber. The adhesive seal parts may be formed from arrangement of curved lines or a spot in addition to linear lines. In this case, it can be also performed that each seal parts is formed into a loop shape and a slit is cut into the loop while seal is held so as to be capable of freely communicating an external fluid with the surface and the back of a membrane.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate cutting and rewinding of a sheet in case the one is of large wall thickness or operation is made at a high speed by heating a cutting tool particularly in the case of thermoplastic sheet, allowing the cutting tool to make a circular motion at a circumferential speed equal to the sheet traveling, and thus permitting the two to travel in contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:When a swing arm 8 sinks and a touch roll 9 contacts an empty takeup shaft 3, a shaft 5 rotates being driven by said touch roll 9 or a sheet sendout pinch roll 10, and a heat cutter with its temperature elevated above the melting point of the sheet rotates in the direction of arrow at a circumferential direction approx. equal to the sheet speed and is put in contact with the sheet traveling between said empty takeup shaft 3 and a turn roll 4. While in contact with the same point of the sheet, the heat cutter 7 pushes it down and moves in a locus consisting of an arc of a circle, the sheet meantime being heated sufficiently to be fusion cut surely. Then the sheet cut end given adhesiveness previously on its surface is wound on the protrusive takeup shaft 3 to allow the sheet to be rewound from the takeup shaft 2 onto 3, which is followed by changeover to regular winding, wherein no power is supplied to the heat cutter.

    • PURPOSE:To make mass production of amorphous metallic fibers in high efficiency by capturing the filament of injected molten metal at a liquid surface facing concentrically to the same, moving successively the same and taking up. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal 1 stored in a vessel 2 is heated by an induction heater 3 and is conducted through a valve 4 to a spinning head 5. The molten metal is extruded from a spinning port 6 by the centrifugal force with the head 5 under high speed rotation and is injected as a filament 7 of the molten metal. The filament 7 is captured and cooled by the cylindrical layer of the liquid flowing down along the wall 9 from a cylindrical liquid supply device 8 provided around the spinning head apart therefrom. The cooled and solidified metallic filament is stored in a cage 10 below the cooling wall surface 9 and when it accumulates to a specified amt., the filament is transferred to another place by means of a conveyor belt 11.

Thereafter, the material 12 is changed to be held with pressure to the circular arc on the opposite side of after stage holding pulley 2 with the second belt 4 and laterally stretched at before and after two stages along the widening line toward the end. The stretch and strinkage of material 12 in longitudinal direction are made possible in those processes.
