    • PURPOSE: To obtain high-quality filament continuously and stably from slightly spinnable substance, by forming a liquid layer on the inner face of a rotating drum by centrifugal force, jetting melt of the substance having fiber-forming ability, etc. to it, to carry out spinning, transferring the filament successively in the shaft direction, drawing it.
      CONSTITUTION: The liquid A of coagulating bath is fed from the pipes 2 and 2' for feeding the liquid of coagulating bath to the inner face 1 of at least one rotating drum, and a rotating liquid layer is formed by centrifugal force. The stock solution B for spinning consisting of melt or solution of a substance having fiber-forming ability is jetted from the nozzle 3 to it, the melt or solution is caught in the layer of the liquid layer A of coagulating bath to carry out spinning. The caught filament C is successively transferred in the axial direction by moving continuously the rotating liquid A along the rotating face in the direction of the rotating shaft, or by moving the liquid while subjecting the filament to post processing, and introduced out of the rotating drum to the guide ring 4 and the traverse 5 and drawn by the winding drum 6.

    • PURPOSE:To operate lateral stretching of a film maintaining its length direction in a constant state and obtain a uniformly stretched film by making a direction transfer line of the U shape stretching path which pinches the edge of film by the pulley and the belt along the tangential line adjacent to the lowest part of the pulley. CONSTITUTION:The right and left edges of the twice folded tubular film 10 are fed via the nip rollers 9, 9' to the pulleys 2, 2' of the same shape and size which rotate reversely each other on a same plane, and are pinched by the pulleys and the circulating belts 7, 8, 7', 8'. When two sheets of obverse and reverse films are stretched along the U shape paths of the lower semicircular part of the pulley respectively, heating and pressing fluid is blown out from the opening holes 17, 17' at the tips of the fishtail tube 15, 15' which are arranged tangentially to the lowest end of the pulley. The film, being stretched, changes its direction smoothly by lubricating flow of blown out fluid following the U shape paths and is stretched laterally, maintaining a constant state longitudinally. Thus, uniformly stretched film 19 is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the uniformity of a stretched film by a method wherein a course similar to the forming curved surface, which is made under the state that respective parts of the film are stretched uniformly, is taken by the film by supplying the predetermined liquid to the surface of the film under stretching. CONSTITUTION:Both the edges of a film 1 are pinched at points (a) and a' between pulleys 2 and 2', which are adjacent to each other, supported horizontally and rotated in the directions indicated with the arrows C and C', and belts 3 and 3', each of which is pressed against the lower semicircular part of the pulley and runs at the speed same as the peripheral speed of the pulley. The film 1 proceeds while being laterally stretched, turns round at points (b), releases at points (c) and c' from the pulleys and the belts and finally proceeds in the form of a stretched film. Liquid is supplied to a sack-like portion made by the proceeding film and the lower halves of the pulleys 2 and 2' so that the difference is made between the liquid level in the sack-like portion and that outside the sack-like portion so as to apply the internal pressure due to the static pressure of the liquid in the interior of the sack-like portion in order to hold the shape of the film ranging between the points (c) and c' in an approximate f-curved surface.
