摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a dynamic vibration absorber (TMD) at the center section of a bridge girder while taking reaction from sections excepting a pier and an abutment, and to damp the vertical vibrations of a bridge girder by traffic vibrations most effectively. SOLUTION: Both ends of a bridge girder 1 are borne by piers 2, 2, and a reaction beam 3 is mounted in approximately parallel with the bridge girder 1 in the lower section of the bridge girder 1. Rods 4, 5 are projected in the direction opposed from approximately the central sections of the bridge girder 1 and the reaction beam 3 respectively, and a vertically rotatable lever 6 is interposed between the bridge girder 1 and the reaction beam 3. The rod 5 of the reaction beam is connected at one end section of the lever 6, and the rod 4 of the bridge girder is coupled at a place near to one end section of the lever 6. A dynamic vibration absorber (TMD) 10 is joined at the other end of the lever 6. When external force is transmitted from the bridge girder 1 to the reaction beam 3, the reaction beam 3 returns reaction to the lever 6. The reaction vibrates the TMD 10 through the lever 6. Accordingly, the generated inertial force of the TMD 10 is amplified by the lever 6, and works to the bridge girder 1 as controlling force.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with maintenance work and to ensure the performance of a damper in any condition. SOLUTION: A first connecting member 1 and a second connecting member 11 are connected in a relatively movable manner. The first connecting member 1 comprises a rod 2 formed with ball screws 2a on the connecting side with the second connecting member 11; a guide nut 3 threadedly engaged with the ball screw 2a of the rod 2 pivotally supported via bearing balls 5 so that it rolls/slides on the ball screws 2a based on the relative displacement of the nut 3 to the ball screw 2a; and a transmitting drum 4 having a larger diameter than the rod 2 and installed rotalable/slidable integrally with the rod 2 via the nut 3. In the second connecting member 11, a casing 13 arranged so as to hold a certain gap against the inner peripheral surface of the drum 4 via a bearing 12, is formed on the connecting side with the first connecting member 1, and a permanent magnet 14 is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the casing 13. With this, a maintenance-free damper can be realized, and a large damping effect can be achieved with simple and small constitution.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge girder vibration damping device which can solve the problems posed by a frame, by eliminating the frame, and which can further enhance damping efficiency. SOLUTION: A lever 12 is pivoted to the inside of a bridge girder 11, and a damping device 14 which is free to move relative to the bridge girder 11 is directly pivoted to one end of the lever 12 while a rod 16 attached to an abutment 18 at the other end is directly pivoted to the other end of the lever 12. The damping device 14 comprises a damper 14a and a weight 14c coupled to the damper 14a via a spring 14b. Thus, because a damper main body serves also as a frame receiving the reactions of an elastic element and the damper, a simplified structure is provided, design for damping is easily achieved, and a lightweight weight becomes usable.

SOLUTION: This base isolation device 20 is installed on at least one of upper and lower ens of a center pillar 10 erected between the floor surface and the ceiling part of a cylindrical underground structure to support between the floor part and the ceiling part, and formed by stacking a center pillar side member 21 and an underground structure side member. The center pillar side member 21 and the underground structure side member respectively have basement parts 22 and contact parts projected rom the basement parts 22 opposite to each other with the mutual contact surfaces curved to fit to each other, and have a rubber elastic body interposed between the basement parts on both sides in the slidable direction of the contact part. The rubber elastic body is formed by vulcanizing bonding, and may be formed like a ring surrounding the periphery of the contact part. The contact surface may be provided with a friction reducing member.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a tunnel including a center pillar base isolation by arranging on the upper part of the center pillar a base isolation device provided with a laminated body of ring plates slidable with each other at low friction and a shear deformation absorbent member composed of rubber filled in the hollow part of the laminated body. SOLUTION: A base isolation device is provided with a laminated body 12 formed of a lamination of ring plates 11 mutually slidable at low friction and a shear deformation absorbent member 16 filled with rubber 15 in the hollow part 14 of the laminated body 12. The shear deformation absorbent member 16 provided with a fixing member 17 is inserted into the gap between a center pillar 2 and an upper floor board and fixing rings 18, 19 are fixed to center pillar and the upper floor board by hammering fixing means 20, 21 of the fixing member 17 therein. The shear deformation absorbent member 16 is integrally formed with the center pillar and the upper floor board by pressing in a stiffening agent into the upper and lower ends of the shear deformation absorbent member 16. When a relative displacement occurs between the upper and the lower floor boards, the base isolation device makes a shear deformation by absorbing the relative displacement and the base isolation of the center pillar is made effectively since the shear deformation is hardly transmitted to the center pillar.

摘要： PURPOSE: To rapidly damp vibration of a bridge beam when the bridge beam is vibrated by an earthquake or the like. CONSTITUTION: A spring 18 and a damper 19 are provided on the opposite ends of a weight 17, respectively, and these are fixed to a frame 20 to form a damping device 16. The damping device 16 is movably mounted to a base 13 through a spring 24. Further a lever 14 is pivotally mounted to the base 13 and a rod 25 projected from the device 16 is engaged with one end of the lever 14, and a rod 26 connected to a bridge beam supporting point 12 such as an abutment or pier is engaged with the other end of the lever 14. When the bridge beam vibrates due to an earthquake or the like, the weight 17 of the device 16 vibrates, thereby generating a force of inertia and a reaction force transmitted from the supporting point 12 through the lever 14 is added to the force of inertia so that amplified control forces act on the bridge beam.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attenuate the vibration in the direction perpendicular to the axis of a bridge girder, by interposing oil dampers which freely slide on the rails firmly fixed at the sideface of the bridge girder at the front end, between the sidefaces of the bridge girder and the wings of the bridge pier. CONSTITUTION:When the bridge girders 14, 15 on the supports 13, 13 isolated from vibration are displaced in the direction with respect to the bridge axis because of an earthquake. The vibration perpendicular to the bridge axis of bridge girders 14, 15 is attenuated by oil dampers 17, 17 interposed between the side faces of bridge girders 14, 15 and the wings 11a, 11a of the bridge piers 11. When the bridge girders 14, 15 are displaced in the axial direction of bridge, since the front ends of oil dampers 17 contact the rails of the side faces 14a, 14a of the bridge girders 14, 15, the rails cause the front end of oil damper 17 to slide in the axial direction of bridge and prevent the oil damper 17 from damage.
