摘要： PURPOSE:To provide the call acceptance control system which is suitable to an input buffer type ATM switch add secures a required communication quality. CONSTITUTION:A band management table 54a and a buffer management table 54b at every call classification where the use volume sufficiently satisfying a required communication quality is corresponded to the number of calls to be simultaneously connected are prepared. The use volume which will be increased at the time of accepting a new call is predicted based on these management tables with respect to the respective incoming line bands to input buffers 53 and a switch main body 52 and outgoing line bands from the switch main body 52. The use volume of the sum of the present use volume and the predictive increase use volume is compared with a threshold to discriminate whether the new call should be accepted or not.

摘要： PURPOSE:To detect a sorting error with a small hardware configuration by comparing the size relation of two output adjacent to each other in a batcher network. CONSTITUTION:Signals adjacent to each other out of the signals outputted from output lines 101-104 are inputted to the comparators 51-53 of a fault detection circuit 11. At this time, when the sorting error due to the fault of batcher element 41, 22, or 32 occurs, the signal from the output line 111 of the comparator 51 or the output line 112 of the comparator 52 goes to a high level. Therefore, output from an OR gate 61 also goes to the high level, and it is outputted from the output line 131 of the fault detection circuit 11 as a detecting signal. In such a manner, it is possible to inform the existence of the sorting error in a device at an output destination by using the detecting signal from the fault detection circuit 11 when the fault occurs in either batcher elements.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exchange a cell with a same system clock signal as before in an equal manner to a conventional manner even in the case that the size of the cell exceeds a previously determined fixed length by converting a header. SOLUTION: This exchange is provided with a header conversion part 130, a switch part 140, a first signal line 173 which transfers a cell in which a header is converted, from the header conversion part to the switch part and further, a second signal line 176 which transfers a part of information transferred from the head conversion part to the switch part instead of the first signal line. The header conversion part outputs the partial information to be had by the cell where the header conversion is finished to the second signal line and outputs the other information than the partial information to the first signal line. The switch part uses the information sent through the first and the second signal lines to perform the exchange.

When the general packet is inputted, the copying of the multiple address communication packet is stopped and the transmission of the general packet is sent with priority.

As a result, the message is interleaved from a multiplex signal and the multiple speed is limited within the allowable reception speed.
