    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate film that can improve display uniformity of a liquid crystal display device, and to provide a laminate film excellent in adhesiveness to a liquid crystal cell as well as excellent in light release property.SOLUTION: The laminate film includes at least a polarizing plate, a retardation film and a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, in this order. The polarizing plate comprises a polarizer, a first protective layer disposed on a side of the polarizer where the retardation film is present, and a second protective layer disposed on the other side of the polarizer opposite to the side where the retardation film is present. The retardation film is a stretched film containing a norbornene resin. The first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprises an adhesive obtained by crosslinking a composition prepared by compounding a (meth)acrylate (co)polymer and a crosslinking agent essentially comprising a peroxide such as diallylperoxides.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming an adhesive layer, which can suppress warpage generated by stress accompanied by a dimensional change of a member of an optical film or the like and can suppress a leak of light, is high in durability, and has an excellent handling property, and by which an adhesive optical film favorable in quality can be obtained.SOLUTION: The method of forming the adhesive layer for the optical film is characterized in that: an adhesive containing 0.02 to 0.2 wt.pt. of a peroxide (B), and 0.001 to 2 wt.pts. of an isocyanate-based compound (C) based on 100 wt.pts of a (meth)acrylic polymer (A) containing, as a copolymer component, 0.01 to 5 wt.pts. of a hydroxy group-containing (meth)acrylic monomer (a2) based on 100 wt.pts of alkyl(meth)acrylate (a1) is applied to a mold releasing sheet subjected to exfoliation treatment; the adhesive is crosslinked by being subjected to heat treatment; and the adhesive layer is formed.
