    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce parallax between light directly reaching an observer from a liquid crystal layer and light reflected on a reflection layer and reaching the observer in a reflective liquid crystal panel, the parallax caused by a large thickness of a back face side polarizing element, and to prevent degradation of a thin polarizing film due to heat upon firing an alignment layer in a liquid crystal panel fabricated by orienting a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film containing iodine to produce a thin polarizing film and stacking the thin film polarizing film and an aluminum reflection layer on an inner face of a back face side substrate of a liquid crystal cell.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a liquid crystal panel including a liquid crystal cell and a reflection layer and a thin polarizing film disposed in a back face side of the liquid crystal panel comprises a step of dyeing a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film with an aqueous solution containing iodine and then orienting the film in a boric acid aqueous solution to obtain a thin polarizing film having a thickness of 1 μm or more and 7 μm or less, and a step of laminating the thin polarizing film to an outer face on the back face side of the liquid crystal cell.
