    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optical axis correction without magnifying a beam diameter, to improve secrecy, to also reduce interference in the case of multiple and simultaneous communications, and to attain miniaturization and weight reduction.
      SOLUTION: When a mirror image of a PD 217 is defined as PD' (=PSD1) and a mirror image of a PSD 219 is defined as PSD2' while rotating angles of motors 212, 214 are adjusted so that light that reaches an optical receiver 21 is reflected on mirrors 211, 213 and passes through beam splitters 215, 216, the PSD 1 and the PSD2' are disposed so as not to overlap with each other, and optical axes of reflected light from the mirror 213 and a photo-detection image of the PD217 are matched. When relative positions of optical transmitter and receiver 11, 21 are changed and optical axes get out of a reference point with laser spot coordinates on the PSD 218, 219 as the reference point, rotating angles of motors 113, 115, 212, 214 are computed and adjusted so that the laser spots on the PSD 218, 219 return to the reference point. Thus, optical axes can be matched all the time.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically change the optical axis of an optical signal and in a short time.
      SOLUTION: A reflection unit D11 can arbitrarily change the angle of a reflector plate, disposed on the axis of an optical signal to orient the reflected light axis of an reflected signal in an arbitrary direction. In a storage unit D14, angle information for orienting the reflected light axis to a targeted direction is previously stored. A monitor unit D15 monitors whether optical communication is in proper conditions; and if the optical communication has been suspended, it instructs a calculation unit 13 to change the optical axis. The calculation unit 13, upon receipt of the optical axis change instruction from the monitor unit D15, reads angle information, corresponding to the target angle from the storage unit D14, to obtain a rotation angle from the difference of the reflector plate from the current angle, and obtains a drive voltage value, corresponding to the rotation angle for providing to a drive unit D12. The drive unit D12 rotates and drives a motor mounted to the rotating axis of the reflector plate by a given drive voltage, thus enabling the optical axis of the optical signal to be shifted in the previously targeted direction.
