    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter for visible light communication capable of achieving a very simple circuit configuration, low power consumption and good visible light communication.SOLUTION: A transmitted data processing part 1 alternately rearranges each data of transmitted data signals for a first sub carrier and a second sub carrier and transmits each rearranged data to an OFDM modulator 2. The OFDM modulator 2 digital-modulates each data for the first sub carrier by the first sub carrier of a first frequency at a first digital modulator 21, and digital-modulates each data for the second sub carrier by the second sub carrier of a second frequency whose frequency bandwidth is overlapped with that of the first frequency, at a second digital modulator 22. A signal synthesis part 27 inputs a digital transmission signal modulated by the first digital modulator 21 and a digital transmission signal modulated by the second digital modulator 22 through a filter and synthesizes a first digital modulation signal and a second digital modulation signal to be orthogonal to each other.
