    • PURPOSE:To reinforce a portion in the vicinity of the corrosion part of a steel pipe pile by means of a corrosion proof part, by a method wherein a position, where the corrosion part of the steel pipe pile is present, is surrounded with a split cylindrical reinforcing body made of steel, and forms are additionally installed to fill a space between the forms and the steel pipe pile with a curable filling material. CONSTITUTION:A split cylindrical reinforcing body 1 made of steel is formed such that a number of semicircular reinforcing bars 10 are vertically arranged at intervals, and the reinforcing bars 10 and longitudinal reinforcing bars 11 are secured to each other by welding and the like. The reinforcing body 1 is located so that it surrounds a position where a corrosion part 3 in a steel pipe pile 2 is present to form a cylindrical reinforcing body 4. After forms 5 surrounding the cylindrical reinforcing body 4 are arranged, a space between the forms 5 and the steel pipe pile 2 is filled with a curable filling material 6. This enables easy and rapid installation of a structure for reinforcing the corrosion part through reduction in a work in water, and permits a sharp decrease in a cost.

    • PURPOSE:To perform a repairing work which is reduced in a work in water, by a method wherein division type bands, in which dowels are previously filled, are secured to the upper and the lower part of the corrosion part of a steel pipe pile, and reinforcing bars and forms are installed to the outer peripheries of the bands between the two bands to place concrete. CONSTITUTION:Repair of a steel pipe pile 4 in which a hole 5 is caused by corrosion is such that division type bands 1, in which dowels 2 are previously filled, are secured to the upper and the lower part of the hole 5 by tightening bolts 10, and reinforcing bars 14 and 15 are arranged on the outer periphery of the two bands 1. Further, after forms 7 and 12 are installed to the outer periphery and the lower end part of the reinforcing bars, a curable filling material 8, such as concrete, is placed between the forms 7, 12 and the steel pipe pile 4, and after the curable filling material 8 is cured, the forms 7 and 12 are removed to complete a work. This eliminates welding of the dowels 2 in water, resulting in the decrease in performing repair work in water.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of hoop tension in the body of steel sheet cell structures by a method in which coupling metals are welded to both sides of the outer walls of the cell structure body and the adjacent steel plate cell bodies are connected with the coupling metals. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of a cell structure, couplers 2 consisting of steel pipes having slits extending in the axial direction of the pipe are welded to the steel plate cell structure 1, and the cell structures 1 are installed at a small interval in such a way that the couplers 2 are connected with each other. Then, cement mortar for sealing is packed into the spaces between the couplers 2 and also between the couplers 2 and the steel plate cell structures 1 to construct a steel plate cell structure body to be used for a bulkhead in the seashore and the like.
