      CONSTITUTION: The magnetic tape is an ordinary music tape or karaoke tape. The information of a specific tape-track reproduced by a reproducing means signifies a music-playing if the tape is a music tape, and signifies a verse- displaying if the tape is karaoke tape. Along with the music and the verses, a prescribed signal is recorded in the information of the tape. The discriminating means discriminates on either the music-playing or the verse-displaying by means of this signal as reproduced, and activates the converting means in order to change the connection to either a speaker or a displayer. Thus the kind of the tape to be reproduced is discriminated extremely easily and exactly, and the selection as to the music or the karaoke is automatically performed in accordance with the discrimination.
