    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent regulation valve device having a short skirt and compactly formed and capable of adjusting, according to the fuel liquid surface in a fuel tank mounted on a vehicle, the falling rate of the fuel liquid surface in a housing by varying a fuel evaporating gas flow amount flowing through a through hole.
      SOLUTION: The vent regulation valve device including an opening for a ventilation passage 21 formed in the upper part of the fuel tank is configured of cylindrical housings 23, 50, one of the housings being an opening on the ventilation passage side and the other being an opening on the fuel tank side, and a float 26 received in the casing. The float moves upwards, when a liquid surface rises to be higher than a predetermined height, and forms a valve closing the opening for the ventilation passage. On a side face of the housing a through hole 24 communicating with the fuel tank and the ventilation passage is formed. When the float rises and an outer peripheral surface of the float reaches a position overlapping the through hole 24, a regulation ventilation passage is formed which communicates from the through hole through a predetermined clearance provided between an inner periphery and the outer peripheral surface of the float into the fuel tank and the casing.

      SOLUTION: The ventilation control valve 1 is provided in a fuel tank. It includes a housing 2 having a vent hole 10 formed below an orifice hole 9 to communicate the inside of the housing 2 with the outside. Regarding the orifice hole 9 and the vent hole 10, during closing the valve in a canister communication port 4, the vent hole 10 is blocked by fuel moving up in the housing 2 to set only the orifice hole 9 into a ventilated condition, and during opening the valve in the canister communication port 4 while a lower end opening portion 6 of the housing 2 is blocked by the liquid surface of the fuel after additional fuel supply is finished, the liquid surface of the fuel in the housing 2 is located below the vent hole 10 to set both the orifice hole 9 and the vent hole 10 into ventilated conditions.
