    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic microstrip patch antenna being a thin type and having a uni-directivity in a wide bandwidth. SOLUTION: Short-circuit conductor plates electrically conducting radiation conductors and ground conductors are disposed properly at places, where an excitation in a mode excepting a desired mode is suppressed, and the turbulence of a radiant pattern at a band end is suppressed. A double-layer structure in which magnetic layers and empty layers are held alternately is formed without adopting a structure in which all openings among the radiation conductor plates and ground conductor plates are filled with a magnetic substance, and a magnetic substance having a dielectric constant of one or more can be applied. The single magnetic substance can also be formed as the magnetic layer but a structure in which the magnetic substance is compounded with a resin or the like and the degree of freedom of a shape and characteristics are optimized is formed.
