    • PURPOSE:To easily use a slip printed by a printer or a copied slip by accurately recognizing the character description frame of the slip even when a described character is protruded from the character description frame or gets close to the character description frame in the case of sensing the character description frame together with the described character at the slip processor. CONSTITUTION:An input slip 1 is read from a facsimile 100, and an image signal is stored in an image signal memory part 102. Based on a control mark, a character description frame detecting area larger than the character description frame is detected from this image signal by a character description frame detection part 103. Next, a fixed range from the upper, lower, right and left edges of that character description frame detecting area to the inside is investigated and only one line segment less than specified value width is erased by a character description frame erasure part 104 so that the phase shape of the described character can be kept without cutting or erasing the protruded part. Afterwards, the character is segmented by a character segmenting part 105 and as the result of this character description frame removal processing, the accurate character recognition is performed by a character recognizing part 106.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a viewpoint and to continuously reproduce a video from a different viewpoint by accumulating multiple viewpoint videos obtained by synchronously photographing an object from n-pieces of different viewpoints in a server and reproducing the multiple point videos in accordance with numbers added in order. SOLUTION: A video group obtained by synchronously photographing the objet from n-pieces of photographing positions is set to be one group video and it is digitally compressed and accumulated in the magnetic disk 112 of the server 110 in an MPEG system. When the group video is selected from a terminal 120 and the viewpoint is selected from the group video, the server 110 reads the selected viewpoint video from the magnetic disk 112. The viewpoint video which is read is transported to the terminal 120 through an FDDI board 114 and a digital line 130. When the terminal 120 receives the transported viewpoint video by the FDDI board 122, the received viewpoint video is transmitted to an MPEG decoder board 124 and is decoded. Then, the decoded video is outputted to a monitor 125.

    • PURPOSE:To grasp the states of plural processors just with a single terminal equipment by incorporating a debug monitor into a host computer to ensure the unitary control of the debugger main bodies stored in all programs when plural programs that work in parallel with each other via plural processors are debugged. CONSTITUTION:A debug file input/output instruction, a defining instruction and a debug area setting instruction are supplied to a terminal equipment 14 regardless of the operations of processors 21-25 and the memory contents. Under such conditions, only a debug monitor 13 incorporated in a host computer 11 performs the processing and requests a user to deliver the next debug instruction. A monitor 13 informs the debug instruction supplied to the equipment 14 to the corresponding processor as long as said debug instruction is equal to a designating instruction for the number of the processor to be noticed. Then the monitor 13 turns on the flag of a debugger main body 31 put into the processor and reports the end of operation to the monitor 13. The monitor 13 displays the processor number designated to the equipment 14 and a list connected to said number and requests the next debug instruction to the user to repeat this action.

    • PURPOSE: To correct the inclination based upon tilt angle at the time of the input of a document by totalizing the appearance frequencies of pixels at an equal vertical distance from optional coordinates on respective reference coordinate axes slanted at optional different angles, and finding the tilt angles of the reference coordinate axes at which maximum appearance frequencies are obtained. CONSTITUTION: In reference coordinate axis setting 101, the reference coordinate axes at tilt angles which are different for every cut width are generated on the basis of the specification of the angle cut width α determining an angle range of detection and estimation precision as operation conditions for estimating the tilt angle of input document image data. In vertical distance calculation 102, the vertical distances of effective pixels on the document from observation points on the respective reference coordinate axes are calculated. In equal-distance pixel quantity totalization 103, the appearance frequencies of effective pixels which are equal in found vertical distance are totalized as to the respective reference coordinate axes. In pixel quantity maximum discrimination 104, the pixel having the largest appearance frequency is discriminated. In center angle calculation 105, the tilt angle of the reference coordinate axis having the maximum value is estimated as the tilt angle at the time of the input of the document image data.
