    • PURPOSE: To attain viewing of a missed video image through fast forwarding reproduction by selecting real time relay reproduction through changeover when a difference between a frame number of a real time relay video image and that of a fast forwarding reproduction video image reaches a set frame difference or below. CONSTITUTION: Upon the request of fast forwarding reproduction of a video image stored in a storage device 3 controlled by a controller 4, the reproduction of the video image from a designated frame is started. Then a video frame number FS during reproduction is fetched and simultaneously a real time relay video frame number FR of a newest video image stored in the device 3 is fetched. Then a difference between the numbers FS and FR is compared with a setting allowable frame value FD, and when the both are equal, the real time relay reproduction is selected through switchover from the fast forwarding video reproduction to continue the relay of the video image. Moreover, when the image of the fast forwarding reproduction is read from the device 3, voice information going to a higher octave proportional to the reproduction speed is restored to a regular octave by a frequency converter 5. Thus, a scene of a missed relay video image is viewed and the succeeding video images are viewed without missing.

    • PURPOSE:To associate contents by making a batch display in a combination of frames showing the time elapse in a moving picture so that a representative screen corresponds to the time positions of the frames. CONSTITUTION:Frames 2 corresponding to respective frames of the picture are indicated as a three-dimensional body whose time is elapsed from the front to the right upper part. When the frames 2 greatly vary in this figure, it corresponds to variation in the enlargement rate of the screen, namely, the enlargement rate increases when the frames 2 become smaller and decreases when larger. Further, elapse display lines 3 connecting the four corners of the frames 2 are provided so that the total time elapse can easily be understood. Thus, the time elapse in the moving picture is shown as the combination of the frames 2 of the frames, and the batch display of plural representative screens in the moving picture that the combination of the frames 2 includes is made corresponding to the time positions of the combination of the frames 2 together with the combination of the frames 2.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the quantity of the fibers to be used and to decrease the weight of the above device by forming the magnifying optical system of images from the ratio between the area of the end part where optical fiber bundles are concentrically arranged and the area of the end part where the optical fiber bundles are linearly arranged. CONSTITUTION:The light generated by bar-shaped light sources 5, such as fluorescent lamp, is made into the light of a uniform distribution by a diffusing plate 4 and a reflecting plate 6. This light illuminates a liquid crystal display 3 and the light past the display 3 is magnified to the area larger than the surface area of the display 3 by the optical fiber bundles 2. The light is emitted from the end faces thereof, by which a screen is formed. Since the fiber bundles 2 are expanded wider than the areas of the peripheral circuit 8 of the display 3 and a display surface 7 added together, the continuous connection of the respective fiber bundles 2 to each other is possible. The one end of the fiber bundles 2 in contact with the display surface of the display 3 is closely packed or bundled in a square. The light past the panel 9 of the display 3 is thus most efficiently converged.

    • PURPOSE:To realize that a user can view a clear enlarged projected image in a light room by giving a polarizing member on a side where the illumination light source of a screen exists and giving a polarizing member whose polarization axis is perpendicular to the polarizing member of the screen to the illumination light source. CONSTITUTION:By converting a fluorescent lamp 10 with the polarizing member 11, the light of the illumination light source 4 becomes the polarized light. By making it perpendicular to the polarizing surface of the polarizing member 7 of the screen 2, the light arriving at the surface 8 of the screen is extremely little and the surface of the screen becomes black even under the bright light source 4. Then, when a projected image is projected on the screen 2 from a projector 3, the light whose component is in parallel with the polarizing surface of the member 7 arrives at the surface 8 of the screen and it is reflected because the light is circularly polarized light. As the result, the user can view the image. Since only the part of the image where the light from the projector 3 exists is light and the other part is black, the image having excellent contrast is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To improve not only the positional accuracy of a pixel but also the control accuracy of the quantity of light to each pixel, by a method wherein a plurality of the windows of a two-dimensional recording head are held to a light pervious or impervious state according to an electric signal, and exposure fitted to color recording is performed using a hot or cold cathode ray tube to perform recording. CONSTITUTION:In a liquid crystal cell array, two-dimensional cells are regularly arranged and independently formed in light pervious and impervious states by a drive circuit to make it possible to keep said states for a definite time. The light of a light source 1 using this hot or cold cathode ray tube reaches a light sensor and a part thereof reaches a two-dimen sional recording head 1. The transmission of light is controlled according to image data by the two-dimensional recording head and the light is projected on a photosensitive body 15 by a lens 14 to expose the same according to image data. The quantity of the emitted light from the light source 11 is detected by the light sensor 12 and the control of the quantity of light for putting out lights at the point of time reaching the necessary quantity of light is performed. By the use of the hot or cold cathode ray tube as the light source, response is rapid and the control of the quantity of light is easy and coloration becomes possible by the use of a light emitting phosphor of the three primary colors or a color filter.
