摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion resistance of a welded zone by removing the coating layer on the connection between two steel pipes coated with a polyolefin-based resin, welding both pipes, coating the welded zone where the steel pipe is exposed with a specified shrinking sleeve, and coating the end with a modified polyolefin sheet by fusion. CONSTITUTION:The coating resin layers 2 and 2a on the connection ends of the two steel pipes 1 and 1a coated with the coating resin layers 2 and 2a consisting of a polyolefin-based resin are peeled to expose the steel pipes 1 and 1a, and both pipes are welded. Since the coating resin layers 2 and 2a are removed from the welded zone and the steel pipes 1 and 1a are exposed at the zone, the shrinking sleeve 3 consisting of the drawn polyethylene with the inside coated with an adhesive is mounted on the weld zone, the sleeve is heated to a temp. higher than the softening point of the adhesive and shrunk, hence the sleeve 3 is tightly attached to the welded zone through an adhesive layer 4, and the welded zone is coated. An acid-modified polyolefin sheet 5, etc., are fused to both ends 3a of the sleeve 3, and the corrosion of the fused parts is obviated.

SOLUTION: In a cushion bag, a cushion sheet is made of an olefin resin and its inner sheet has a functional-group-containing polyolefin layer on at least its one surface, the functional-group-containing polyolefin layer containing α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids beyond 1000 ppm. A laminate sheet of the cushioning bag is obtained by superimposing the paper sheet and the functional- group-containing polyolefin layer of the inner sheet. By heat-sealing a peripheral portion except an open end, the facing inner sheets are fusion-bonded, so that the paper sheet and the inner sheet are stuck together.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make a shape constant and to make particle size distribution sharp by preparing regular shape powdery polyolefin by cutting a uniaxially stretched polyolefin filament within such a range that a length/diameter ratio is 2.5 - 100 and subsequently applying heat treatment to the cut filaments. CONSTITUTION:An olefin polymer such as polyethylene or polypropylene is spun or extruded in a molten liquid or solution form to form a non-stretched linear material which is, in turn, uniaxially stretched to form a polyolefin fila ment. This uniaxially stretched polyolefin filament is cut into a definite length within such a range that a length/diameter ratio is 2.5 - 100, pref., about 8.0 - 50. Subsequently, the filaments after cutting are heat-treated at about 60 - 130 deg.C for about 5 min in polyethylene and at about 140 - 160 deg.C for about 5 min in polypropylene to prepare regular shape powdery polyolefin.

Then an oriented tape 8 obtained by giving 10-30% shrinkage factor to the unoriented tape 7 by heating and orienting the same is fed on the outside of the steel pipe 1 in order through a tape feed equipment 6. The oriented tape 8 is wound spirally round the outside of the steel pipe 1 by overlapping the oriented tape 8.
