    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catenary-type horizontal continuous steel strip processing apparatus, which includes a horizontal catenary furnace with a large capacity of catenary and a processing furnace adjacent thereto and has such a structure that a steel strip does not contact with equipment installed in the lower part of a horizontal catenary furnace and is further provided with a threading apparatus in the structure.
      SOLUTION: In the catenary-type horizontal continuous steel strip processing apparatus 10 having the horizontal catenary furnace 13 and the processing furnace 14 adjacent to the downstream thereof, the pass line of the horizontal catenary furnace 13 is set at a position higher than the pass line of the processing furnace 14; a liftable threading roll 27 is provided in the processing furnace 14; a threading bar 20 in the processing furnace 14 is lifted to the same height position as the pass line of the horizontal catenary furnace 13 and moved backward to the horizontal catenary furnace 13 when threading the steel strip 12; and the threading bar 20 to which the steel strip 12 is connected is moved forward from the horizontal catenary furnace 13 to the processing furnace 14 and further descended to the same height position as the pass line of the processing furnace 14 and then moved forward.

    • PURPOSE:To control the pressure in the continuous annealing furnace to an appropriate pressure by closing the damper of a flue in an emergency stop of a line in the operation of the annealing furnace to stop a heating combustor and adjusting the opening and closing of an emergency damper in a preheating furnace of the annealing furnace. CONSTITUTION:A steel sheet 11 is continuously annealed in the continuous annealing furnace consisting of the preheating furnace 2, a direct-fired oxygen free furnace 1 and a furnace 4 contg. gaseous atmosphere. When the annealing is stopped due to a line trouble, the furnace pressure controlling damper 7 provided in a waste gas flue 14 of the preheating furnace 2 is closed. The cutoff valve 24 for a gaseous fuel to be supplied to the direct-fired furnace 1 and a cutoff valve 25 for a combustion air are simultaneously closed to stop the fuel combustion in the furnace 1, an inert gas such as N2 is supplied from pipelines 17 and 19 to prevent the formation of a negative pressure in the gaseous atmosphere in the annealing furnace, and the oxidation of the steel sheet 11 by the atmosphere intruding from the outside of the furnace is obviated. Conversely, when the furnace pressure is abnormally increased, the increase is detected by a furnace pressure detector 23, the furnace pressure controlling emergency damper 20 provided to the preheating furnace 2 is opened, and the pressure of the atmosphere in the annealing furnace is held at an appropriate positive pressure.

    • PURPOSE:To inject fluid in the uniform and laminar state in slit nozzle opening part by providing a flow regulating chamber formed of a pressure equalizing chamber, flow rectifying reinforcing plates and flow rectifying plates within the slit nozzle header of an injector for fluid. CONSTITUTION:Liquid such as cooling water enter the inside of a slit header 2 from a lead-in pipe 1, passes through plural pieces of outflow holes 4 provided at random in a pressure equalizing plate 3 and ejects into a pressure equalizing chamber 5. Here, the dynamic pressure of the fluid decreases and the fluid is uniformalized of mixed dynamic and static pressure, after which it passes flow rectifying reinforcing plates 6 and enters a flow rectifying chamber 7. In the chamber 7, the disturbance of the liquid flow produced by the plates 6 is regulated by flow rectifying plates 8 and is injected uniformly in the laminar flow state from a slit 9. Since the fluid is rectified of flow, there is no uneven rate of injection, the shape is compact, the strength of the nozzle part is high and fluid injection is accomplished efficiently.
