摘要： PURPOSE:To decrease skid marks and to prevent tranverse deviation of materials in a walking beam type heating furnace by tilting movable hearths in the longitudinal directions of the material and shifting the materials to be heated in the direction intersecting with the advancing direction. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of moving the material 2 on stationary beams 23 upward with moved walking beams 3 and advancing the same, only the support roll 6 on the left side is moved upward by DELTAh, by which a beam frame 5 is tilted and the material 2 is shifted to the right side by DELTAx and is placed on the beams 23. After the material is shifted twice to the right side, the material 2 is ahifted twice to the left side and is then returned to the origin; further after the material is shifted twice to the left sid, the material is shifted twice to the right side and is returned to the origin. Thus, the material 2 is conveyed in an arrow direction in a heating furnace 1 while the material is moved zigzag to the right and left, whereby the skid marks of the material 2 are decreased consideraby.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable common use of a hearth part for conveying heating materials having different lengths such as long-sized materials and ingots and to improve the heat unit by installing walking hearths and walking beams in combination to said hearth part. CONSTITUTION:A walking frame 5 moved vertically and transversely by a driving device 8 makes walking operation. Movable beams 3 and movable hearths 4 are fixed to the frame 5 and makes the same operation as the operation of the frame 5. An extra-short material 7 is alternately supported by a hearth 1-1 which is a part of a furnace body 1 and the hearth 4 and is conveyed by the walking cycle of the hearth 4. A long-sized material 6 is alternately supported by stationary beams 2 fixed to the hearth 1-1 which is a part of the body 1 and the beams 3 and is conveyed by the walking cycle of the beams 3.

摘要： PURPOSE:To convey materials rationally and efficiently by providing the same diameter and the same stroke to cylinders for upward and downward movements as well as forward and backward movements respectively, providing the same oil hydraulic circuits thereto and connecting the cylinders for forward and backward movements in series. CONSTITUTION:Arrangement is so made that cylinders 11, 12 for moving walking beams upward and downward have the same diameter, the same stroke and the same oil hydraulic circuits and that cylinders 9, 10 for moving the walking beams connected to walking frames 7, 9 forward and backward have the same diameter, the same stroke and the same oil hydraulic circuits. The cylinders 9, 10 are connected in series. Thus walking beams 3a, 3b can be operated independently and arbitrarily, and the materials are conveyed cooperatively with the walking beams by hydraulic synchronization so as to prevent deviation between the beams.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of a skid mark while shifting a steel piece to an advance direction, in heating a high temp. steel material in a walking beam type heating furnace, by driving the rectangular cooperation drive series of a plurality of walking beams in synchronous and non-synchronous drive combination. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of steel pieces 14-1, 14-8 are heated while moved to an extraction port 3 from a charging port 2 by a plurality of walking beams 4 subjected to rectangular motion and fixed beams 15. In this case, an upper and a lower drive cylinders 10a, 10b and a advancing and retracting cylinder 12 in a plurality of walking beam drive series are not made synchronous as is conventional and separately driven while subjected to numerical control. Because the steel pieces 14 are conveyed in a state movable to the direction crossing the advance direction thereof by the non-synchronous driving of a plurality of the walking beams 4, each steel piece does not receive the skid marks due to the walking beams 4 and the fixed beams and is uniformly heated.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent decarburation of steel material through quick passage thereof at a high temperature section by changing the walking stroke with the walking beam divided lengthwise with respect to the furnace in heating a billet in a heating furance of walking type. CONSTITUTION:A walking beam is divided into WBI and WBII in a heating furnace of walking type, which are connected by a connection cylinder 10. The connection cylinder 10 is provided with bypass circuit 25 and 25' which are equipped with flow regulating valves 16 and 19. When the billet to be heated is transferred from the walking beam WBII to the WBI, it moves slowly over the WBII at a temperature below 750 deg.C under which the carburization hard to take place while it passes quickly over the WBI at a temperature ranging from 750 to 900 deg.C under which the carburization is tended to take place. To achieve this, the bypass circuits 25 and 25' of the connection 10 is made open so that the speed of the material over the WBII is less than that over the WBI. Through the opening of the flow regulating valves 16 and 19, the stroke of the WBI is adjusted freely with respect to that of the WBII.

Here, when the ingot near the sampling port is positioned abnormally; for example, the ingot is inclined like M4 or is superposed on the other ingot M3 like M4', the ingot M4 in the inclined position is pushed to the normal position or the superposed ingot M4' is pushed down to the normal position by advancing the rods 11 of plural pieces of correcting devices 10a-10c for ingot positions provided on the outer side of the wall HF' on the furnace head side, so that the ingots are sampled smoothly through the outlet 5 to the outside of the heating furnace by a discharger which enters the furnace through an opening 7 and operates.

摘要： PURPOSE:To correct the positions of hot steel ingots in a walking type heating furnace having an intermediate charging port to the state intersecting orthogonally with the conveying direction in said heating furnace by bisecting a moving hearth and correcting the positions of the hot ingots charged through the intermediate charging port with the head of the movable hearth on the furnace tail side. CONSTITUTION:In a walking type steel material heating furnace having a tail charging port for charging of cold steel materials and an intermediate charging port 5 for charging of hot steel materials, a movable hearth is provided by dividing the same to a tail side hearth 8 and a head side hearth 9. In the stage when the steel materials which are to be charged into the heating furnace through the port 5 and have high temp. and are long as compared to their sectional area are charged into the furnace, the ingots may tilt without intersecting orthogonally with the conveying direction like M2'. At such a time, the inclined material M2' is pushed by the head part of the hearth 8 and is corrected to the position intersecting correctly orthogonally with the conveying direction, whereby the charging of the hot ingots through the port 5 and the conveying in the furnace to the furnace head direction are accomplished smoothly.
