    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete-filled steel segment for improving economic efficiency of a tunnel lining body by integrating a filling concrete, which has been used as a substitute material for secondary lining, as a structural member.
      SOLUTION: In the concrete-filled steel segment, vertical ribs 5 adjacent to joint plates 4 are respectively arranged as follows. Namely, the angle θ formed at an intersection of central axis lines extended from the central axis lines of vertical ribs 5, which are adjacent to each other at an interval in a peripheral direction of a tunnel, toward a center in the radial direction of a segment ring is made to be in the range of 10-25 degrees. The angle formed at the intersection of the central axis lines extended from the central axis line of the vertical rib 5 adjacent to the joint plate 4 and from the central axis line of the joint plate 4 toward the center in the radial direction of the segment ring is made to be the same as or smaller than the arrangement angle of the vertical ribs 5 adjacent to each other at an interval in the peripheral direction of the tunnel.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to laborsaving construction and the simplification of a structure by reducing or dispensing with bolt fastening work and work for filling in a hole of a bolt box, in terms of a steel segment with pre-filled concrete.
      SOLUTION: The steel segment 10 is constituted in such a manner that the pre-filled concrete is infilled into a steel shell 10a which is composed of an outer main beam 11, an inner main beam 11a, joint plate 13 and a skin plate 14; and a male joint 17a is equipped with an engaging protrusion 20 which is composed of a shank 20a, whose base end if fixed to a joining plate 18, and a head part 20b. A female joint 17 has an engaging hole 19 which is composed of an opening 19a into which the head part 20b of the male joint 17a can be inserted, and a locking part 19b into which the shank 20a can be fitted. Tapers 21a and 21c, whose diameters are reduced in one circumferential direction of the tunnel, and tapers 21b and 21d, whose diameters are reduced to the side of the base end of the shank 20a in the axial direction of the tunnel, are provided in the shank 20a and the locking part 19b, in which the rear part of the engaging hole 19 is made to serve as a closed space 23.
