摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the reinforcing work or secondary lining to shorten the term of works by preliminarily providing a cut in the opening forming part of a shield tunnel, and using a steel frame segment not filled with concrete. SOLUTION: The opening part to a shaft B of a shield tunnel A formed by a steel frame concrete segment 11 is preliminarily cut in an opening forming area, and a steel frame segment 10 not filled with concrete is used. The lower end circumference of the retaining wall 22 of the shaft B is subjected to soil improvement 23, and a reinforcing timbering is set within the shield tunnel A. The opening forming area of the steel frame segment 10 is removed to form an opening, and a reinforcing horizontal beam is welded to the whole circumference of the opening. The reinforcing timbering is removed finally, concrete is filled in the steel frame of the steel frame segment 10 left as a part of the shield tunnel A to complete the opening. Since the reinforcing work or secondary lining work can be simplified, the period of works can be shortened, and the cost can be reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a joint structure in circumferential direction of a tunnel and increase a connection strength against a displacement force in inner and outer directions of the tunnel. SOLUTION: A steel shell segment is so formed that the connection of steel shell segments 1 opposed to each other in tunnel axial direction (between segment rings) is performed by an engagement of a male side engaging member 35 with a female side engaging member 36 installed on a web 13 of a steel shell side frame 5 through a cut-off packing (sealant). The joint member of the steel shell segment 1 in tunnel circumferential direction (segment) is formed of a joint part platy steel material 20 surface-contactable between the members opposed to each other. The cut-off packing is installed in a packing stamping groove 24 formed in the joint part platy steel material 20, and both joint part platy steel materials 20 are connected water-tight to each other through the cut-off packing. Then, an engagement recessed part 46 used commonly with an assembly positioning guide installed on the joint part platy steel material 20 is engaged with an engagement projected part 47.

In this case, the male side-engaging member 6 is constituted so that a lock member 3 having lock projections 4 on the extremity is fixed to the side of the one segment 2, and the female engaging member 5 is constituted of slide stopper-holding frames 20 fixed to the side of the other segment 1, and slide stoppers 12 supported movably in the radial direction of tunnel by the holding frames 20, energized by springs in the closing direction of the entering parts of the lock member 3, and made possible to lock the lock projections 4.

SOLUTION: This segment connecting structure is so designed that a connecting arm provided on one of segments that adjoin to each other along the circumferential direction of a tunnel is inserted and locked in an engaging hole which is bored in a locking member provided on the other segment and which passes along the direction of the tunnel axis. In this case, a male locking projection 33 is attached to either the connecting arm 19 or locking member 20a, and the other is provided with a female stopper 34 which, as the engaging hole 20 is fitted over the connecting arm 19, allows the male locking projection 33 to push its engaging part and pass through it, so that the engaging part is engaged with the male locking projection 33 by its returning movement to prevent the male locking projection 33 from coming out.
