    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a structure with high structural reliability, which can stably exert desired strength of a joint portion, by employing an inexpensive and simple constitution. SOLUTION: This steel segment 1 filled with concrete is constituted by infilling concrete 41 into a steel shell 10 which comprises a pair of main plate girders 11, a pair of joint plates 13 and a skin plate. A plurality of longitudinal ribs 31 are arranged almost in parallel with the axial direction of a tunnel in the steel shell 10. A load transfer member 33 is arranged almost in parallel with the circumferential direction of the tunnel in the concrete 41. The one end side 33a of the load transfer member 33 is anchored to the longitudinal rib 31A adjacent to the joint plate 13. A connecting member 35 is arranged between the joint plate 13 and the longitudinal rib 31A. One end 35a of the connecting member 35 is fixed to the joint plate 13, and the other end 35b thereof is fixed to the longitudinal rib 31A. A tensile load and the like acting on the joint portion 23 of the joint plate 13 are surely transferred to the longitudinal rib 31A and the load transfer member 33 via the connecting member 35.       SOLUTION: Main girders 2a and 2b are joined to both end parts in the width direction of a bottom plate 4, and end part plates 3a and 3b having its upper end part positioned above an upper end part of the main girders 2a and 2b and constituting a side surface, are joined to both end parts in the longitudinal direction of the bottom plate 4 and the main girders 2a and 2b. Form plates 8a and 8b constituting a part of the side surface along its edge, are also joined to an outside end part in the width direction of an upper surface of the main girders 2a and 2b. While, one or a plurality of ribs 5 connecting both main girders are joined to an intermediate part in the longitudinal direction of the main girders 2a and 2b, and infilling concrete 7 is filled up to an upper end part of the end part plates 3a and 3b and the form plates 8a and 8b in a space surrounded by the bottom plate 4, the main girder 2a, the main girder 2b, the form plate 8a and the form plate 8b so as to cover the upper end part of the main girders 2a and 2b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide required dimensional precision and effective tensile performance by providing an L-shaped reinforcing member butted to the connection part of a main girder and a joint plate from the inside, and connecting the L-shaped reinforcing member to the main girder by fillet welding. SOLUTION: This steel segment is formed of a main girder 3a, a joint plate 5, an L-shaped reinforcing member 12, a vertical rib 4, and a skin plate 6. The fillet weld 17 between the main girder 3a and the L-shaped reinforcing member 12 may be performed only in a sectional area necessary for transmitting the load of the main girder 3a. The fillet weld 17 between the outer main girder 3a and the L-shaped reinforcing member 12 is performed in the axial direction of the outer main girder 3a and in the axially right-angled direction of the main girder 3a. Therefore, since the load of the outer main girder 3a is transmitted to the adjacent segment through the L-shaped reinforcing member 12, sufficient resistant force can be provided to tensile force, and this segment is conformable even to the state where the tensile force by internal hydraulic pressure acts thereon. Accordingly, high tensile yield strength and rigidity can be provided, and the segment can be manufactured with high working precision.
