Temperature of already cooled coke cut out on a discharge conveyer 6 is measured with 20 and the measured value is introduced into a cutting-out temperature control device 19 to control the opening of adjust valve 17 and rotating speed of blower 11 and blowing amount of cooling gas is adjusted to maintain temperature of already cooled coke to prescribed value or below. The distribution in circumferential direction of pulling-out amount of cooling gas is adjusted by the adjust valve 14a provided in the branched piping 14.

    • PURPOSE:To produce sintered ore having a high yield and strength with high efficiency by calculating the porosity part of specific size from the tomographic images obtd. by projecting radiation to the arbitrary cross section of the sintered ore and adjusting and controlling sintering conditions. CONSTITUTION:The radiation is projected and scanned to the arbitrary section of the sintered ore and the intensity of the transmitted radiation is detected. The above-mentioned operation is carried out from the circumference of the above-mentioned cross section and the image of the above-mentioned cross section is synthesized from the resulted intensity of the transmitted radiation. The radiation intensities by each of the constituting picture elements of the resulted image are segmented by the CT value of CT value (-)=(mus-muw)/muwxXK (where muw; coefft. of X-ray absorption of water, mus; coefft. of X-ray absorption of sample, K; constant). The ratio of the part where one size exhibiting the negative CT value exceeds 5mm with in the segment of the negative CT values is thereby calculated. The operating conditions for sintering are adjusted and controlled when the ratio exceeds 40%.

    • PURPOSE:To operate stably a blast furnace at a low cost by providing a pulverized coal supplying system having the pulverized coal supplying capacity expresed by the specific equation when the blast furnace is going to be blown down in the event of a trouble in a coal crusher. CONSTITUTION:The pulverized coal supplying system having the pulverized coal supplying capacity to maintain at least the equation (AXB)+C=DXB when the blast furnace is going to be blown down by the trouble in the coal crusher is provided. A: the pulverized coal supplying capacity (weight/hour) of the remaining coal crusher except the defective coal crusher, B: the period (hour) for preparing the blowing down of the blast furnace, C: the storage capacity (weight) of th storage tank, D: the blowing rate (weight/time) of the pulverized coal to the blast furnace. More specifically, plural units of the crushers are provided to the pulverized coal supplying system and the number of the crushers having the possibility of getting out of order within 6-7hr in the period for preparing the blowing down of the blast furnace is preliminarily predicted and the required capacity of the storage tank is determined by making effective use of the remaining supplying capacity of the crusher group except such crushers.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent column bricks from collapsing, by setting a bypass piping to connect a cooling gas circulating line at the downstream side of a cooler to the vicinity of an air suction pipe and an air suction vent to a sloping flue and a flow rate control valve. CONSTITUTION:When a low-temperature cooling gas which has been discharged from a diffusion pipe 22 is directly sucked from the vicinity of an air suction vent 21b into a sloping flue 1c, temperature variability of column brick 10 to cause collapse of the column brick 10 is lessened with increase in the amount of the sucked low-temperature cooling gas and the temperature of the gas can be suppressed to 60-50 deg.C range not to lead to problems of operation. Further when the amount of the low-temperature cooling gas introduced is regulated corresponding to amounts of combustible gases such as H2 or CO evolved from coke in a cooling column 1 or an amount of air sucked from an air suction pipe 21 required for combustion of the gases, the temperature variability of the column brick 10 is further lessened.
