摘要： PURPOSE:To generate O2 and H2 on both sides of an ultrathin steel sheet in the form of bubbles and to clean the steel sheet without buckling or deforming the sheet by passing the sheet through a cleaning soln., injecting a cleaning soln. from upper and lower nozzles and passing the sheet between the anode and cathode respectively consisting of two electrodes. NaOH soln. by the rotation of the inlet-side sink roll 2 and outlet-side sink roll 3 along a pass line P connecting the lower surfaces 22 and 32 of both sink rolls. The sheet S is passed between the upper electrode 41 and lower electrode 42 of the anode 4 and between the upper electrode 51 and lower electrode 52 of the cathode 5. An aq. NaOH soln. is injected from the upper nozzles 61a and 61b and lower nozzles 62a and 62b of a band steel holder 6 between the rolls 2 and 3 to level the band steel S. A current is applied to the anode 4 and the cathode 5 from a DC power source 9, hence gaseous H2 is generated on the band steel surface at the anode part and gaseous O2 at the cathode part in the form of bubbles to surely remove the rolling oil, etc., on the surface of the band steel S., and the band steel S is not buckled or deformed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce the cold rolled steel sheet having excellent surface characteristics by retractably providing a cover or a deflector roll for the plated steel sheet in proximity to a deflector roll for the cold rolled steel sheet on the outlet side of a hot dip coating cell. CONSTITUTION:The steel sheet 6 is continuously passed in a hot dip coating bath 1 via the inlet side deflector roll 4 and a sink roll 7 and is subjected to hot dip coating; thereafter, the steel sheet is taken out via a wiping device 8, by which the plated steel sheet is produced. The above-mentioned steel sheet 6 is transferred from the inlet side deflector roll 4 to the deflector roll 9 for the cold rolled steel sheet and is thereby taken out at the time of producing the cold rolled steel sheet. The pass line of the steel sheet 6 is changed from L1 to L3 and the steel sheet is guided by the deflector roll 10 for the plated steel sheet provided to the front end part of a arm 12 at the time of switching the production from the production of the plated steel sheet to the production of the cold rolled steel sheet with the above- mentioned production equipment commonly used for the plated steel sheet and the cold rolled steel sheet of the continuous heat treatment furnace. The arm 12 is rotated around a shaft 11 after the passage through the plating sticking part and the steel sheet 6 is guided by the deflector roll 9 for the cold rolled steel sheet, by which the sticking of the plating metal is prevented and the cold rolled steel sheet having high quality is obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify mechanism and to facilitate changeover from a stage for producing a hot dip plated steel sheet to a stage for producing a cold rolled steel sheet by utilizing the rotating force of a sink roll as force to drive a support roll. CONSTITUTION:An arm 12 is fitted to the shaft 11 of a sink roll 7 and a gear mechanism 14 is fitted to the arm 12 to transmit the rotation of the roll 7 to an inside support roll 13. The speed of rotation of the roll 13 is made slightly lower than the speed of passing of a steel sheet 6. An outside support roll 15 is rotated by driving a motor 16 set at the outside of a bath. When the sink roll 7 is moved backward from a pass line and the inner support roll 13 is also moved backward, the steel sheet can be moved to other pass line without hindrance.

In the production of a plated steel sheet, the steel sheet 6 is sent to a sink roll 7 through the deflector roll 4, passed through the plating bath 1, and sent to the succeeding stage through a wiping device 8. In the production of a cold-rolled steel sheet, a shutter 10 is taken out by a driving motor 18 from a shutter storage part 11 provided outside the inlet-side vessel wall 2, the connector 13 of a shutter piece 12 is led by a guide 16, and the shutter is taken out through the opening 14 to cover the upper part of the plating bath 1. The steel sheet 6 is then traveled through the deflector rolls 4 and 9, and the contamination of the steel sheet 6 by the vaporization of the plating bath 1 is prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To rapidly switch stages and to improve the working rate of equipment by moving a sink roll with one end connected to a rotating shaft to a standby position while dipping the roll in a plating bath, and producing a cold- rolled steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:A heat-treated steel sheet 1 is dipped in the plating bath 2 and traveled by the turndown roll 3, sink roll 5, and deflectro roll 4 along the path of the steel sheet 1. Consequently, both sides of the steel sheet 1 are plated to produce a plated steel sheet. One end of the sink roll 5 dipped in the plating bath 2 is connected to the vertical rotating shaft through a bearing 6, and the other end is supported by a bearing 10. The rotating shaft is supported by a frame 9, and made freely rotatable. When the plating stage is switched over to a cold-rolled steel sheet production stage, the bearing 10 is retreated by the operation of a cylinder 11, and the support of the sink roll 5 is released. A motor 8 of a rotating mechanism 7 is operated to move the sink roll 5 to a standby position through the rotating shaft and bearing 6, and the steel sheet 1 is released from the plating bath 2.
