摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous steel casting method by which the time for pouring the molten steel into a tundish can be extended in the state of closing a sliding nozzle. SOLUTION: When the molten steel in the tundish 1 is supplied into a mold from a molten steel pouring hole 3 provided at the bottom part through an upper nozzle 4, sliding nozzle 5 and immersion nozzle 6 and continuously cast, the upper nozzle 4 is heated to >=800 deg.C by a heater 21 provided inside the upper nozzle 4 and the sliding nozzle 5 is heated to >=500 deg.C by the heater provided inside the sliding nozzle 5, or the gas heated to >=600 deg.C through the sliding nozzle 5 is supplied into the molten steel, thereby the molten steel is poured into the tundish 1 in the state of closing the sliding nozzle 5, while stirring the molten steel, and then the sliding nozzle 5 is opened to start the casting.

CONSTITUTION:In a continuous casting device for cast billet connecting a refractory nozzle 2 and a water cooling mold 3, a magnetic field amplifying plate 4 is provided on the connected part of the refractory nozzle 2 and the mold 3 and also the high frequency induction coil 5 is provided in the vicinity of the magnetic field amplifying plate 4, and on the magnetic field amplifying plate 4, the part for preventing conduction of induction current generated from the high frequency induction coil 5 is provided. Therefore, in an upstream zone from the mold 3, solidification of the molten steel 6 is not occurred and the cast billet excellent in surface property is produced.

摘要： PURPOSE: To effectively execute the initial stage solidified control at a triple point by arranging an electromagnetic induction coil which circles the flowing hole of a casting nozzle and positions the inside of extending surface of the inner wall of a mold so that the distance with the mold surface becomes a specific value. CONSTITUTION: Molten metal 9 in a tundish 2 is supplied into the mold 1 through a front nozzle 3, feed nozzle 4 and casting ring 5. The electromagnetic induction coil 7 is fitted in a groove 19 arranged in the feed nozzle 4. A part or all of the coil 7 is positioned in the inside of extending surface of the inner wall of the mold 1. The shortest distance between the surface of inlet part of the mold 1 and the coil 7 is made to be >=5mm. The shorter the distance between the coil 7 and the triple point 8 is, the larger the induction heating quantity at the triple point 8 is. In the case the coil 7 approaches the mold 1 too much, the mold 1 shuts off the magnetic field, and the magnetic field is difficult to develop into the triple point 8. The coil 7 is suitably approached to the triple point 8, and then, the incomplete sticking of the solidified shell 6 can be eliminated.

When the magnetic field converging plate is arranged, the magnetic field generated by the high frequency coil do not diverge in the air, passes through the center of the magnetic field converging plate and converged. Then, when the magnetic field converging plate is arranged along the neighborhood of the triple point part near the high frequency coil, the magnetic field is converged near the triple point and a high magnetic pressure can be actuated efficiently. Soft magnetic material is used as magnetic field converging plate material and silicon steel plate, etc., are suitable. Thus, a large magnetic pressure is generated at the triple point part to obtain the steel plate excellent in surface property in a stable state.
