CONSTITUTION:High frequency current conductive passages 1b are arranged in gas wiping nozzles 3 at both sides of the steel sheet S and also magnetic shield plates 6 covering both surfaces of both edge parts of the steel sheet are arranged so as to approach to the steel sheet surface. By energizing the high frequency current having the same phase in so sufficient quantity that the steel sheet S can magnetically be saturated to each high frequency conductive passage 1b, the high frequency current having the reverse phase is induced in the steel sheet S. The magnetic pressure worked on the steel sheet S surface is generated by mutual action between the induction current and the current in the high frequency current conductive passages 1b to prevent the warp and the vibration of the steel sheet. Together with this pressure, Lorentz force generated on the steel sheet S is cooperated with the gas from the nozzle 3 and the magnetic field in the high frequency current conductive passages 1b is shielded with the magnetic shield plates 6. Then, while controlling intensity of the Lorentz force at both edge parts of the steel plate, the coating on the steel sheet S is executed.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a smooth and uniform coating at a high speed by arranging high frequency current conductive passages at both edge parts in the width direction of a steel sheet near gas wiping nozzles and energizing the high frequency current having the large same phase to the passages. CONSTITUTION:Gas is injected on the steel sheet S drawn up from hot dipping bath 3 from the gas wiping nozzles 1 to remove the excess molten metal stuck to the both surfaces. In a control method for the coating rate, the high frequency current conductive passages 4a paralleled to the steel sheet surfaces and mutually faced while inserting the steel sheet S are arranged at both edge part position in the width direction of the steel sheet near the gas wiping nozzle 1. To the conductive passage 4a pair, the high frequency current having the same phase in such sufficient quantity that the steel sheet S can magnetically be saturated, is energized to induce the high frequency current having the reverse phase in the steel sheet S. By this method, while preventing the vibration of the steel sheet S by generating magnetic pressure, the centering is executed. Further, the generated Lorentz force is cooperated with the gas from the gas wiping nozzles 1 to execute the wiping to the molten metal at the edge parts.

Therefore, in an upstream zone from the mold 3, solidification of the molten steel 6 is not occurred and the cast billet excellent in surface property is produced.

    • PURPOSE:To execute heat conduction to molten iron at high efficiency and to execute smelting reduction of iron raw material in the molten iron by blowing gas for stirring from nozzles at bottom wall into the molten iron in a horizontal type refining furnace and also oxygen from lances at top part and the oxygen into slag layer from nozzle holes at lower part side wall of the lance. CONSTITUTION:Nitrogen gas is blown into the molten iron 7 from plural pieces of the nozzles 9 at the bottom wall in the horizontal refining furnace 5 to execute stirring, and the oxygen for decarbonizing is blown into the molten iron from the lower ends of plural pieces of the lances 6 at top part. By this method, decarbonizing reaction is executed in the molten iron 7 with coal supplied from a supplying tube 10 to generate CO. At the same time, the oxygen for secondary combustion is blown into the slag layer 8 from plural nozzle holes at each lower part side wall of the lance 6 to execute secondary combustion of the CO gas, which is generated in the molten iron 7, in the slag layer 8. The heat generated with the secondary combustion is conducted from the slag layer 8 into the molten iron 7, to raise the molten iron 7 temp. By this method, the smelting reduction is executed to the iron ore continuously supplied from the supplying tube 10 at good efficiency in the molten iron 7.

CONSTITUTION:At the front face side and back face side of the steel sheet 1 continuously passing through, high-frequency current conducting passages 2a, 2b parallel to the steel sheet 1 surface are set near the steel sheet 1 surfaces so as to almost face to each other while inserting the steel sheet between them, and also at the outer part of both sides in the width direction of the steel sheet 1 near these high-frequency current conducting passages 2a, 2b, an N pole and an S pole of magnets are set so as to almost face to each other while inserting the width direction of the steel sheet 1 between them, and under condition of sufficiently saturating magnetically the steel sheet 1 with the magnets, by conducting high-frequency current having the same phase in the above high-frequency current conducting passages 2a, 2b at the front face side and the back face side of the steel sheet, the high-frequency current having the reverse phase is induced in the steel sheet 1. By interaction between this induction current and the high-frequency current in the above each high-frequency current conducting passage, magnetic pressure acting on the steel sheet surface is generated to restrain the warp and the vibration in the width direction of the steel sheet 1 with the magnetic pressure acting on both surfaces of the steel sheet 1.

Then, when the magnetic field converging plate is arranged along the neighborhood of the triple point part near the high frequency coil, the magnetic field is converged near the triple point and a high magnetic pressure can be actuated efficiently. Soft magnetic material is used as magnetic field converging plate material and silicon steel plate, etc., are suitable. Thus, a large magnetic pressure is generated at the triple point part to obtain the steel plate excellent in surface property in a stable state.
