    • PURPOSE:To surely detect an obstacle at the inside over the whole length of a pipe by a method wherein a transmission signal is transmitted and received between one side and the other side in the inside space of the pipe and signals at its transmission and its reception are compared. CONSTITUTION:By using a signal from a transmission control device 7, a transmission device 10 which is installed at the base end part of a transport pipe 5 transmits an ultrasonic pulse signal to the inside space of the transport pipe 5. The pulse signal which has been transmitted inside the transport pipe 5 is received by a reception device 12 which is installed at the tip part. In addition, the device 7 outputs, to a detection device 3, the same signal as the signal which has been output to the device 10, and a reception control device 9 outputs, to the device 3, the signal which has been input from the device 12. At this time, the device 3 compares a transmitted signal with a received signal. When the pulse power value of the received signal is close to the pulse power value of the transmitted signal, it is judged that no obstacle exists inside the transport pipe 5. When the pulse power value of the received signal is remarkably low, it is supposed that the pulse signal has been attenuated by an obstacle, it is judged that the obstacle exists inside the transport pipe 5, and an alarm is given 60.

    • PURPOSE:To transmit the radio wave even when the transportation of objects in a pneumatic transportation passage is stopped by providing an opening part in a valve plate so as to ventilate the air at the opened position, and providing an air shut-off part made of synthetic resin to shut off the ventilation of the air at the closed position. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 1 is inserted in a pneumatic transportation passage, and mounted therein by aligning a passage 3 of the cylindrical body 1 to the pneumatic transportation passage. When an opening part 24 of a valve plate 23 is aligned to the passage 3 of the cylindrical body 1, an object to be transported by the pneumatic transportation passage can pass through the opening part 24 of the valve plate 23, and the radio wave can also pass. When an air shut-off part 25 of the valve plate 23 is aligned to the passage 3 of the cylindrical body 1, the object to be transported by the pneumatic transportation passage is shut off by an air shut-off part 25, but the radio wave can pass through and is transmitted through the shut-off part 25 because the air shut-off part 25 is made of synthetic resin. Thus, even when the transportation of the objects in the pneumatic transportation passage is stopped, the radio wave can be transmitted using the pneumatic transportation passage.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the temperature increasing function of a solid electrolyte type fuel cell usable for mobile use at a low cost by constituting a ceiling section and a floor section so that the space surrounded by the first wall and the second wall is made a sealed space except a combustion gas feed hole and an exhaust gas discharge hole provided on the second wall. CONSTITUTION:The first wall 2 surrounding a fuel cell main body 1 and the second wall 3 surrounding the first wall 2 are provided, a ceiling section and a floor section are constituted so that the space surrounded by the first wall 2 and the second wall 3 is made a sealed space except a combustion gas feed hole 4 and an exhaust gas discharge hole 5 provided on the second wall 3, and combustion gas 9 is guided to this sealed space to increase the temperature of the fuel cell main body 1 to the preset temperature. Combustion gas 9 is fed to the space surrounded by the first wall 2 and the second wall 3 via the combustion gas feed hole 4, exhaust gas is discharged through the exhaust gas discharge hole 5, thereby the first wall 2 is heated to a high temperature, and the temperature of the fuel cell main body 1 can be increased to a high temperature by the radiation heat from the first wall 2. This system can be used for mobile use at a low cost.
