摘要： PURPOSE:To make a brake act effectively at the time of a crash astern, by making use of a control cylinder having control air hole on its lower part provided in connection with the upper part of a valve cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A title device is provided with a valve cylinder 11 having a valve seat 11a on the lower end and a discharge hole 11b on the lower part, a control cylinder 13 having a control air hole 13b and provided in connection with the upper part of the valve cylinder 11, a valve stem 15 provided with a control piston 16, which supplies air to the above control cylinder 13, on its top, and a valve spring 17 giving a bounce to the valve stem 15 in a valve closing direction. At the time of braking in a crash astern, low pressure air is made to actuate the control piston 16 to push up the valve stem 15 so as to discharge working gas when inner pressure of the cylinder 13 is arrived at predetermined pressure. In addition to the above, under a state wherein no control air is being supplied the titled device is made to perform a function as a safety valve through which the valve is opened when the inner pressure of the cylinder exceeds an allowable value form a safety point of view.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable closing control of a starting valve to be operated at the most appropriate timing by detecting opening action of starting valve and performing feed back control of the starting valve closing timing on the basis of a difference between the actual operation timing and the calculated timing. CONSTITUTION:An open-signal of a starting valve 2 is inputted to a control section from a detector 12, and the timing based on the actual operation of an operation section is detected, and then the difference between this timing and a timing computed through calculation is calculated. The correction time lag is detected on the basis of the engine speed at this time and fed back to the calculation of the next most appropriate colsing timing. Thus, correction is always automatically made in any condition so as to set up the most appropriate value. Accordingly, the starting valve 2 and a glow valve 11 can be opened/ closed always at the most appropriate timing through automatically correcting a working air pressure transmission lag.

摘要： PURPOSE:To open a safety valve of each cylinder without operating a valve of an indicator of each cylinder, by feeding high pressure air which closes a solenoid valve for an air blow at the time of air blowing. CONSTITUTION:The titled device consists of a safety valve 10 which is made to enable to open the valve by actuating air on a piston 16 provided on the top of a valve stem, a high pressure air feeder 21 which opens the above valve 10 at the time of air blowing, a low pressure air feeder 31 which opens the above valve 10 along with inner pressure of a cylinder and an exhaust valve 41 provided within an air duct 14 of the above air feeders. A safety valve 10 of each cylinder is opened by feeding high pressure air which closes a switch 24 of a solenoid valve 22 for the air blowing at the time of the air blowing. Opening and closing operation, therefore, of a valve of an indicator of each cylinder by an engine operator becomes unnecessary.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make an output shaft run at a slow speed before start or immediately after interruption of a prime mover in order to prevent seizure thereof by providing both a revolving and driving mechanism and a pneumatically driving mechanism which serve for engaging a pinion with a gear wheel which is stuck to the output shaft of the prime mover. CONSTITUTION:The output shaft 2 of a prime mover 1 is connected to a motor 13 via a pinion 4, intermittent gears 6, 8, 9 and 12 and a worm 15. The motor 13 contains a cooling fan. Before starting of immediately after interruption of the prime mover 1, air is blasted from a pressure air suction port 17 to revolve the motor 14 so as to vary the phase of the pinion 4 and to drive an actuator 20 so as to make the pinion 4 in mesh with a gear wheel 3. After the mesh of them, the blasting of air is stopped and the motor 13 is simultaneously revolved. Since the output shaft 2 can be thus made to run at a slow speed, seizure thereof may be prevented.

CONSTITUTION:A control device is provided with a transducer 14 to obtain the number of revolutions of an engine by a signal from a crank angle detector 13, an opening detector 12 of a starting valve, and a starting air pressure detector 10. A computing element 18 compensates opening/closing angles of the starting valve and the blow valve on the basis of the number of revolutions of the engine and a starting air pressure. A register A16 issues a signal to modify the compensated angle on the basis of the difference between an actual valve-opening angle and a reference valve-opening angle. This construction permits to promote the capacity of braking, and shorten the time of starting and braking.
