    • PURPOSE:To easily lead in local and remote tests, by inserting a nonlinear element between a test connecting circuit and a telephone set side line, in a subscriber's circuit of a time division switchboard. CONSTITUTION:A telephone set TEL is connected to a subscriber's circuit SUB through a line L, a nonlinear element SV such as a two-way diode, etc. is inserted into the line, and the element SV transmits a small amplitude AC which has been superposed on DC, but it has a characteristic by which it is cut off in case of only a small amplitude AC. When a contact ta of a test relay TA is closed and a contact tb of a relay TB is opened under control of a testing device TST, DC is supplied to the telephone set TEL from the testing device TST, and a signal is transmitted through the nonlinear element SV, but when a remote test is executed by closing only the contact point ta of the relay TA, DC is not supplied to the telephone set TEL, therefore, the nonlinear element SV shows the impedance which is nearly infinite, and a transmission characteristic test is executed exactly through the subscriber's circuit SUB by the testing device TST.

    • PURPOSE:To enable accurate and stable reading-in of bar code at all times, by assuming the interval with the clock corresponding to N-division of interval of bar code equally and reading the presence of bar code signal in the assumed interval. CONSTITUTION:The document 4 is moved toward E and it is scanned toward F with the bar code scanning means 5 consisting of light source, lenses and photo electric converters.
