    • PURPOSE:To automatically control the driving of a vehicle according to various traveling test patterns even if the respective adjustments of an accelerator pedal and brake pedal are relatively rough by driving the vehicle by the operation of the accelerator pedal and brake pedal. etc. CONSTITUTION:The vehicle 20 receives the same load as the load in the actual traveling state from a driving roller 12 of a chassis dyanamometer 10 on elapsing of time and is driven by the respective operations of the accelerator pedal 23 and the brake pedal 24. A microcomputer (MC)60 and driving circuits 70a, 70b and stepping motors (SM)80a, 80b, etc. are provided. The circuit 70a generates the 1st driving signal necessary for bringing the position of the SM80a to a desired step position under the control of the MC60 and the circuit 70b generates the 2nd driving signal necessary for bringing the position of the SM80b to a desired step position under the control of the MC60. The SM80a is connected by the output shaft thereof to the pedal 23 and adjusts the stepping depth of the pedal 23 to an optimum depth. On the other hand, the SM80b is connected by the output shaft thereof to be pedal 24 and adjusts the stepping depth of the pedal 24 to an optimum depth.
