CONSTITUTION:Task routines, which include an input sensor routine 100, an operation and processing routine 101 and an actuator output routine 102 and function to perform operation for temperature control at a time interval of several hundred milliseconds to several seconds, and interruption routines, which include a switch input routine 200, input routines 201, 202, a comparison routine 203 and a temperature control damper output routine 204 and function to perform interruption at a time interval of scores of milliseconds, are separately provided for the digital computer 32 of a controller so that the position of a temperature control damper 16 can be adjusted without greatly fluctuating the degree of opening of the damper. This results in avoiding the sharp change in blowoff temperature and the delay of response to the changes in the temperatures inside and outside a vehicle room.

    • PURPOSE:To enable to hold and display the symptom conserved as they were at the occurrence of abnormality by a method wherein the operating states of specified actuators, which are not controlled by means of colsed loop in monitor mode, are held at the staes, in which said acutators were just before the shifting to monitor mode. CONSTITUTION:When reset signals are sent to CPUs 42 and 43 and the state is discriminated as monitor mode according to the state of a signal line 56, inputs of panel swithces 37 are read in order to specify and prepare a control variable to be displayed and a mode display lamp 46 is lit and yet prepared data are displayed on a set temperature display 44. After that, output data of the specified actuators, which were stored just before the shifting to the monitor mode, are outputted to a RAM in the CPU 43. Actuators, the data of which are held in the RAM, are limited to specified actuators, which necessitate no colsed loop control directly or, concretely in working example, are actuators for performing changing-over a discharge port and a suction port and for determining the output levels of a compressor, a water valve and a blower motor, the operating states of all of which can be held in monitor mode at the states as they were just before the shifting to the monitor mode.

    • PURPOSE:To contrive to prevent monitor mode from continuing unfavorably due to the occurrence of trouble by a method wherein the shifting from normal operating control to monitor mode and following automatic return to normal operating control afger the elapse of a certain fixed period of time is performed by giving a predetermined input to a specified signal line. CONSTITUTION:Reset signals are given to CPUs 42 and 43 by putting the power supply to work or the like. Via the signal line 56 for monitor mode, the shifting to monitor mode is accomplished with a switch 37. Then, a timer T is reset to ''0''. The processing in monitor mode is to be carried out for a period of time controlled with the timer T. If the monitor signal is turned OFF in the midway of monitor mode, the processing in monitor mode is interrrupted and the state is returned to the step as was before the shifting to monitor mode. Accordingly, if the signal line 57 is left being turned ON for some trouble or other, the processing in monitor mode is accomplished for a certain fixed period of time T0 and, after that, the state is returned to the step as was before the shifting to monitor mode in order to accomplish normal operating control. consequently, monitor mode can be accomplished without impairing the original controlling function of the air conditioner.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve temperature control better than ever before, by controlling a temperature controlling member in accordance with difference in each detected output between an indoor temperature sensor and another indoor temperature sensor being disposed at a position that substantially receives the sunlight inside a car room. CONSTITUTION:With solenoid valves 113 and 114 controlled in their opening or closing, the opening of a temperature controlling damper (illustration omitted) is trued up while a damper control circuit 1 for bringing the indoor temperature close to the desired value is installed, through which conditions for controlling input into the said circuit 1 are established so as to be varied by a compensation circuit 2 according to the quantity of heat radiation incident in a car room. This compensation action discriminates whether the quantity of incident light into the car room is above the specified value or not, and in case the desired value is exceeded, it is made to put in operation. The said control circuit 1 comprises a temperature detection circuit 11 provided with indoor and outdoor temperature sensors 11b and 11c, a temperature setting circuit 12, a constant current control circuit 13, a comparator circuit 14 and an amplifying circuit 15; and the compensation circuit 2 has a heat radiation sensor 21c and is made up of a conversion circuit 21 converting the heat radiation from the sun into a voltage signal.
