    • PURPOSE:To obtain a sensitive and stabilized detector, by placing a pressure- sensitive rubber band between first and second band-shaped electrodes and covering with a deformable covering member. CONSTITUTION:A case 4 composed of end (a), side (b) and edge (c) portions is of a recessed cross section, thicknesses of edge (c) and side (b) portions are mode thinner than the thickness of the end portion (a). Now, pressure applied to the case 4 is transmitted to a pressure sensitive rubber piece 1 through an electrode 3 by buckling of the case 4 itself and the piece 1 receives pressure as squeezed between electrodes 2, 3. The band-shape rubber piece 1 is, when pressure is zero, provided with almost infinite resistance value, however, even if its area is limited, when pressure exceeds the specified value, then the resistance value changes to an extremely small one, for example, a few OMEGA/cm . An electic current applied between the electrodes 2, 3 allows a current to flow between the electrodes 2, 3 which is detected with an electric circuit for its magnitude. Thus, it is possible to tell whether pressure was applied to the pressure-sensitive rubber piece 1.

    • PURPOSE:To calculate and display the weather in several hours after the present by detecting the physical factor changing with the weather by a sensor, converting the signal thereof to a digital signal and subjecting the same to information processing with an arithmetic device. CONSTITUTION:A titled device consists of an atmospheric pressure sensor 1 which detects the atmospheric pressure and converts the same to a voltage, an AD converter 2 which converts the output thereof to a digital signal and stores the same, an arithmetic processing device 3 which processes the converted digital input signal and a display device 4 which displays the processed signal in the form of a weather symbol. The device 3 constitutes a timer for two minutes with a program and fetches the atmospheric pressure as 8-bit data therein by the converter 2 at every two minutes. Said device calculates the oscillation F of the atmospheric pressure and the inclination S of the pressure from the information on the atmospheric pressure in, for example, 120min at every two minutes and decides and displays the weather in 6hr afterward.
