    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain navigating property while improving fuel efficiency by efficiently switching a fuel save mode and a normal mode.SOLUTION: A set number of revolutions and an actual number of revolutions are input in a controller 4. In a normal mode, a PID controller 12 calculates an output value to a fuel supply means of a marine engine 2 based on a difference between the set number of revolutions and the actual number of revolutions. The PID controller 12 also includes a fuel save mode for reducing a varying width in an output value per unit time compared to the normal mode. The system includes detecting units 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 for monitoring changes in a set number of revolutions and an actual number of revolutions. In the fuel save mode, when a set number of revolutions or an actual number of revolutions exceeds a predetermined range, the PID controller 12 is switched into the normal mode by an output of the detecting units.
