    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with high current collecting function, prevented from fall-off of activator. SOLUTION: The anode for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 is provided with an activator layer 3 and a current collecting surface layer 4a covering the activator layer, having many fine holes 6 through which, electrolyte liquid can flow, and a conductive polymer 5 is interposed between the activator layer and the current collecting surface layer continuously or non-continuously. It is preferable that the activator layer contains particles of active material and a material with low lithium compound forming capacity is filled between the particles. The anode is obtained by painting conductive polymer on the surface of the activator layer, applying electrolytic plating thereon, and by forming a current collecting surface layer covering the activator layer, having many fine holes through which electrolyte liquid can flow.
