The female joint 20 comprises: a fitting cylinder 21 which allows the insertion of the male joint 10, and which has a bored portion 21b positioned on a back side with respect to a body portion 21a and having a diameter larger than an inner diameter of the body portion 21a; and a bottom portion 22 which is positioned in the back portion of the fitting hole of the fitting cylinder 21. A male-side step portion 13a is formed at the rod leading end 11a of the fitting rod 11, and a female-side step portion 23 is provided on a boundary between the body portion 21a of the fitting cylinder 21 and the bored portion 21b. When the male joint 10 is inserted into the female joint 20, the male-side and female-side step portions 13a and 23 are put into the state of being capable of being engaged with each other by being hooked on each other.
