    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure guarantee of proper operation by protecting electric parts from ambient environment, reduce the number of parts and the assembly man-hours, improve ease of maintenance, and efficiently cool heating elements.
      SOLUTION: An electric motor housing 41 forms an outer shell of a compressor body including a compressor part 44 sucking refrigerant therein and compressing it. A power transistor 58, an inverter control box 56, and a smoothing capacitor 64 are separately attached to an peripheral surface of the electric motor housing 41. The power transistor 58 supplies drive power as three-phase power to a compressor part 44. The inverter box 56 has a printed board 57 on which an element for controlling a power transistor 58 is mounted. The smoothing capacitor 64 stabilizes the drive power supplied to the electric motor part 45. The power transistor 58 and smoothing capacitor 64 are closely and tightly fixed to the electric motor housing 41. When the operation of a refrigeration cycle is stopped and an ambient temperature of electric parts constituted of the inverter box 56 and smoothing capacitor 64 is a predetermined temperature, cooling operation for operating the compressor part 44 is performed.

SOLUTION: In a scroll compressor to be loaded on an air conditioner for a vehicle or the like, a tip seal 8 is divided into three parts.     • PURPOSE:To prevent seizure and galling at the thrust face by installing passages for leading lubricating oil, accumulated in the center recessed parr of a frame, to the upper part of the thrust face of the frame and discharging excess lubricating oil to the lower part of the thrust face. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil fed to a frame 2 from the oil passage of a rotary shaft is once accumulated in the center recessed part 20 of the frame 2. The lubricating oil then reaches an annular oil feeding passage groove 22 via an upward oil feeding passage groove 23A by the rise of the oil level and is fed to the thrust face in the process of flowing down the passage groove 22 from the upper part, and after lubricating the thrust face 21, returned to an oil reservoir part at the bottom part of a closed housing via an oil discharge passage 12A. That is, the lubricating oil is fed to the thrust face 21 while flowing from the upper part to the lower part at the thrust face 21 so as to enable sufficient oiling, thereby preventing seizure and galling at the sliding face, the increase of OC% and oil break in a compressor.
