摘要： PURPOSE:To activate a catalyst packed in a reactor by abrading the surface of the catalyst by blowing coarse particles with high pressure gas thereto to expose fresh catalyst surface. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of activating a catalyst in a reactor particularly, a denitration reactor without taking out the catalyst out of the reaction system, valves 7-10 are opened when the activity of the denitration catalyst 4 is deteriorated by the accumulation of poisonous substance, such as Na, K, etc., and coarse particles such as collected ash is fed from a hopper of an electric precipitator 2 and ejected through a pipe 5 and a soot blowing nozzle 6 using highs pressure gas from a line 14 to abrade the surface of the catalyst. By the simple method using coarse particles which is easily available such as flyash, the catalyst is activated. The post treatment is unnecessary because no aq. soln. is used.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the deviation of catalysts at the time of filling and removing and decrease their damages by mounting L-shaped heat-resistant packings to the side edge parts of the gas passage holes of the catalysts, fixing the same by means of retaining fittings from the outer side of the packing material of single catalysts. CONSTITUTION:Heat-resistant packings 2 of an L-shape formed by ''Kaowool '', asbestos, etc. are disposed on the upper stream side and lower stream side of the gas passage surfaces of single catalyst layers 1, and the catalysts 1 and heat-resistant packings 2 are alternately combined and stacked, whereby these are packaged into one body. Further, retaining fittings 4 are applied from the outer side of the packing materials 2 at said side edge parts on at least one side of the gas inlet side or outlet side of the gas passage surfaces of the single catalysts and the fittings 4 are fixed to a frame structural body 5. The packings 2 are used at about 2-3mm. thicknesses corresponding to the thickness of the outside wall part of the catalysts in order to provide protection to the end face parts of the catalysts 1 and prevent the deviation of the catalysts in the direction perpendicular to the gas flow 3.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a method for removing carbon dioxide in a combustion exhaust gas with an amine absorbent. CONSTITUTION:Carbon dioxide in a combustion exhaust gas is removed with an amine absorbent 4 in an absorption tower 1; the amine absorbent which captured carbon dioxide is regenerated by discharging the carbon dioxide in a regeneration tower 2. In this method, the pH of the amine absorbent 4 regenerated in the regeneration tower 2 is detected with the passage of time to regulate the amount of steam supplied to a reboiler 9 for heating the regeneration tower 2. The carbon dioxide concentration in the regenerated amine absorbent is controlled at the optimum, and the pH of the amine absorbent 4 which absorbed carbon dioxide in the carbon dioxide absorption tower 1 is detected with the passage of time so that the amount of the regenerated amine absorbent circulating from the regeneration tower 2 to the carbon dioxide absorption tower 1 is controlled to remove carbon dioxide in the combustion exhaust gas.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform stable waste gas treatment by adding NH3 to waste gas accompanying rapid temp. change, then passing the waste gas through a denitration catalyst layer which carries an active component on the surface of a catalyst body having lattice structure forming 50-300mum thickness of the active component. CONSTITUTION:A layer of an active component comprising Ti, V, W, etc., is formed on the surface of a lattice structure of a mullite base material to 50-300mum thickness. The lattice part of such lattice catalyst layer 6 forms passages of waste gas. Denitration of the waste gas is performed by passing the gas through the catalyst layer 6 after adding NH3 to the waste gas from a boiler 1 through an injection pipe 4. In this case, the amt. of adsorbed NH3 to the active component layer at low temp. is decreased even when rapid temp. change of waste gas accompanies. Moreover, stable treatment of gas is possible by keeping the concn. of NH3 in the system at a value in a specified range even when the temp. is elevated rapidly.

CONSTITUTION:In regenerating a nitrogen oxide removing catalyst reduced in the capacity thereof, the deactivated catalyst is subjected to washing treatment at 25-90 deg.C by using a dilute aqueous solution containing 0.01-10wt% of acetic acid or formic acid or a solution mixture of said solution and a dilute aqueous solution containing 0.01-5wt% of an inorg. acid. A washing time is 5-90min, pref., 30-60min. By this method, a calcium component such as calcium sulfate can be eluted and removed in good efficiency.
