    • PURPOSE:To to perform accurate measurement and, at the same time, to minimize the power consumption of the module by intermittently driving a signal processing circuit. CONSTITUTION:In an intermittent drive control circuit 23, the (+) and (-) output terminals of a DC power source are connected to the (+) and (-) input terminals of a signal processing circuit 22 through wires 23a and 23b and a timer relay 25 is connected between the wires 23a and 23b. When a voltage is applied across the circuit 23 from an external power source connected to a power supply terminal 13, the relay 25 in the circuit 23 performs opening and closing operations on a contact 25a in a certain cycle. The power supply to the circuit 22 is intermittently performed following the cycle set by means of the circuit 23. Therefore, the circuit 22 drives a composite thin film sensor 21, processes the information detected by the sensor 21, and outputs the processed results through a terminal 14 only when the power supply is made to the circuit 22. Since the sensor 21 is intermittently operated in such a way, the temperature rise of the whole sensor 21 becomes smaller even when the sensor 21 generates heat at the measuring time. Therefore, mutual interference between thin film sensors can be prevented and accurate measurement can be performed. In addition, since the sensor is intermittently operated, the power consumption of this module can be minimized.

    • PURPOSE:To simulate actual earthquake input conditions by suspending a long- sized structure in parallel to a supporting wall and thus constituting a pendulum mechanism, and performing a test by an optional horizontal exciting force by means of plural exciters. CONSTITUTION:A suspending rope 22 is connected to the upper end of a simulated nuclear reactor container for an actual nuclear reactor container and a reactor core tank 11, and the rope 22 is fixed to an upper frame 23 to suspend the container 21 from the upper frame 23 in parallel to a supporting wall 24, thus constituting a pendulum exciting mechanism. For the simulation of the input of an earthquake to the actual machine, hydraulic exciters are installed at respective input points and above and below a simulation upper part earthquake- proof support plate 25, a simulation intermediate earthquake-proof support plate 26, and said containment 21, and the hydraulic exciters 27-30 at those input points input an earthquake wave to perform excitation. For a test, four exciters are operated equally and a simulation system by a computer is employed to equalize the spectrum and waveforms of the earthquake wave after the excitation and input earthquake wave to each other.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a lack of recording abnormal vibration wave form of impact vibration, etc. due to the first collision of loose parts by providing interposingly a signal delaying apparatus on the midway of an inputting signal system from a vibration detector to a recorder. CONSTITUTION:The output of the vibration detector 2 attached to the outer wall of an apparatus 1 constituting a primary cooling water system of vapor generator, etc. of nuclear reactor is inputted to a detector 4 through an amplifier 3, and whether the impact vibration is generated by the collision of the loose parts or not is decided. In case of detecting the collision of the loose parts, the abnormality command is sent to an alarm device 5 from the detector 4 to generate the alarm, and simultaneously the generated time, etc. of the impact vibration are displayed on a display device 6. The abnormality command is sent simultaneously to a recorder 7 from the detector 4, and the output of the amplifier 3 inputted through the signal delaying device 8 is recorded. In this way, since the output of the vibration detector is recorded under the state delayed by a prescribed time, the lack of recording the impact vibration can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To generate a pulselike exciting force in only one direction vertical to the shaft of a thin type by mounting eccentric loads in the same amount with the phase shift of 180 deg. on both shafts of a tandem-compounded motor and making a opposite rotation for both shafts each other. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric weight 7a is mounted on a rotary shaft 6 in one side, and the rotary shaft in another side is connected with a concentric gear device 9 which output shaft 8 is made to rotate oppositely to the shaft 6 with the equal speed, and another eccentric weight 7b in the same amount is mounted on the output shaft 8 at a position with the 180 deg. phase shift from the eccentric weight 7a. When the eccentric weights 7a, 7b are placed on a position (a), centrifugal forces Pa, Pb to an axis X-X are offset because the directions are opposite each other, then the exciting force is made to be zero. When the eccentric weights 7a, 7b are placed on a position (b), the directions of the centrifugal forces Pa, Pb are the same and the exciting force corresponding to Pa + Pb is effected to the axis X-X. With this arrangement, the pulselike exciting force can be generated in only one direction intersecting orthogonally with the shaft of the thin tube.
