    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation of the impact absorbing performance of an automobile associated with an upsizing of a hood opening/closing mechanism when employing a hood rear end lifting structure in the automobile.
      SOLUTION: An automobile 200 comprises a hood 202 provided on a front side of a driver's seat, a hinge 100 which connects the hood 202 to an automobile body on the driver's seat side and is turned so as to open a front end of the hood 202 in the normal operation, and an actuator 300 which is actuated when an impact exceeding a reference value occurs. The hinge 100 comprises movable units 102, 103, 105 for lifting a rear end of the hood 202 by the driving force of the actuated actuator 300, and a fixing part 101 which is fixed to the automobile body with the actuator 300 fixed thereto. The fixing part 101 has a deformation part 101b having uneven shapes so as to be buckle-deformed by an impact from a forward side of the automobile.
