    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer capacitor capable of preventing transmission of mechanical distortion due to electrostrictive effects to first and second terminal electrodes in a capacitor base body having dielectric characteristics.
      SOLUTION: The first terminal electrode 20 has second electrode portion 22 arranged at a second flank 5, the second terminal electrode 30 has second electrode portion 23 disposed on a second flank 5. Capacitor base body 1 includes a base body region 1a sandwiched between a first internal electrode and second internal electrode. The second electrode portions 22, 23 when viewed from a second direction orthogonal to the second flank 5 are apart from each other, at an end in a first direction where the first end surface 2 and a second end surface 3 are opposed to each other, in a second direction orthogonal to the first and third direction so that at least a portion of an end of the base body region 1a in the first direction is interposed.

The first electrode terminals 4, 6 and the second terminal electrodes 8, 10 have electrode portions 4a, 6a and 8a, 10a, and the electrode portions 4a, 6a, 8a and 10a are each disposed on any of a plurality of regions sandwiching the base portion 21 in an arrow C direction and being not superimposed on the base body portion 21 in first and second side surfaces 2a, 2b viewed from an arrow B direction.

      SOLUTION: This head support mechanism has a rigid support arm, a suspension which is made in a swingable balancing structure in a direction crossing the surface of a recording medium supported on a weight support point formed between a rigid support arm and a support arm, and also has: a head slider having at least one head element on its tip end; a pressure generating means to generate a weight load to press the head slider to the surface of the recording medium by using the support point; a horizontal rotation bearing to rotate the support arm and the suspension in the direction parallel with the recording medium; and a weight which is connected to the rear end of the suspension to make the support point agree to the gravity center of the suspension including the head slider. This weight is formed at least on a part surrounding the horizontal rotation bearing.
