    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the frequency characteristics of a modulation amplifier using an EER (Envelope Elimination and Restoration) system.
      SOLUTION: The EER system comprises: an amplitude amplifier for performing voltage amplification of an amplitude component of an input high frequency modulation signal; and a high frequency amplifier for amplifying a phase component of the input high frequency modulation signal. The EER system is equipped with a feedback group which generates an amplitude component by a baseband signal processing part, distributes the amplitude signal to input one of the amplitude signal to a first detector, extracts a differential signal between a detector output signal of the amplitude signal and an output signal of a second detector for obtaining an envelope from an output signal of the high frequency amplifier, compares the extracted differential signal with the original amplitude signal, and controls a distortion component by controlling the amplitude amplifier on the basis of the comparison result.

      SOLUTION: A slide type variable resistor (comprising a slider 117 and a carbon film resistor 119) is installed in the fuel cell 100, and the slider 117 is connected to a movable partition 116 of a fuel tank 110. Constant voltage generated with the fuel cell 100 is applied to both ends of the carbon film resistor 119. Voltage obtained by partially dividing the constant voltage is taken out through the slider 117 and a remaining amount detecting terminal. Since the position of the slider 116 moves according to increase in by-products, the remaining amount of fuel of the fuel cell 100 can be detected with the voltage signal.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EER (Envelop Elimination Restoration) system used as a small delay adjusting circuit with a low cost by devising the delay adjusting circuit which performs the delay adjusting of a phase signal amplifying system and an amplitude signal amplifying system.
      SOLUTION: An input signal is distributed by a coupler 2 to the path of the amplitude signal amplifying system and the path of the phase signal amplifying system, the amplitude signal is taken out in an amplitude signal detection circuit 3, voltage amplified by an amplitude signal amplifier 4, and supplied as the voltage source of a phase signal amplifier 7. On the other hand, a phase signal is formed by a first saturation amplifier 5 of a high efficiency, and inputted into a delay adjusting circuit 6. The delay adjusting circuit 6 can arrange properly the delay time of the phase signal and the amplitude signal to amplify the phase signal by a second saturation amplifier 6b while adjusting the input level of the phase signal by a variable attenuator 6a. The phase signal amplifier 7 recombines the amplitude signal and the phase signal by performing the amplification of the phase signal by the power source supplied from the amplitude signal amplifier 4, and outputs a high frequency modulation signal.
