    • PURPOSE:To improve torque response even in transient are as, while maintaining high efficiency operation of motor in steady area, by performing control while separating the armature voltage into voltage drop due to armature current and a voltage induced through rotation of motor and field current. CONSTITUTION:A current command generator 4 generates a field current com mand If* and an armature current command Ia* based on a torque command taue* and a field current If detected, respectively, through a torque command unit 3 and a field current sensor 8. An armature controller 5 performs PID control based on the difference between the command Ia* and an actual arma ture current Ia detected through an armature current sensor 6 and produces an armature control voltage by adding a voltage command, induced only through the armature current Ia, to a voltage induced through the field current If and an actual rotary speed of motor detected through a motor rotation sensor 11. A field controller 7 performs PID control based on the difference between the command If* and the current If thus producing a field control voltage.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent measurement error due to outer wind by fixing an open skirt hood to the top of a Venturi stack so that the lower fringe part of the hood is below the upper fringe part of a duct. SOLUTION: The Venturi stack 15 comprises a Venturi tube 2 produced by constricting the intermediate part of a tubular duct 1 and measures the flow rate of passing air based on the pressure in a static pressure hole 10 prior to constriction and the pressure in a static pressure hole 11 at a constricted part. An open skirt hood 20 is fixed to the top of the duct 1. The hood 20 has inside diameter larger than the outer diameter at the top of the duct 1 and fixed such that the lower fringe part of the hood 20 is covered with the upper fringe pat of the duct 1 by means of a supporting rod 21. The air flows into the duct 1 through the gap between the hood 20 and the duct 1. A turbulence accelerator comprising a flange-like plate 25 is fixed along the upper surface of the supporting rod 21 in order to vary the incoming air flow thus ensuring a stabilized measurement.

    • PURPOSE:To control advancing direction easily by individually driving right and left sprockets, through separately excited DC machines, with a DC power obtained by converting the output of an AC generator which is driven through an engine and feeding excessive power, produced from the DC machine, to a regenerative resistor. CONSTITUTION:Output from an AC generator 2, driven through a prime mover 1 such as an engine or a turbine, is subjected to power conversion 3 to produce DC power. DC power is then fed, individually, to field current controllers 12, 13 for two separately excited DC motors 8, 9 which convert the DC power into driving force for right and left sprockets in order to control the current to be fed to the field coils 6, 7 of a separately excited DC motor 89 independently thus controlling the speed of the DC motor individually. When the system enters into a brake mode, a circuit breaker 14 is opened while circuit breakers 15, 16 are thrown in simultaneously or individually in order to feed the excessive power, generated in the armature coils 4, 5 in the DC machine, to regenerative resistors 10, 11 thus converting the excessive power into heat.
